Yea I'm running the non root version. I never had a problem at all until now. Should I try using the root version then??

Thanks tips but I've disabled YouTube already. I've been using this for a couple years now and this is the first issue I've ever had with it. It started just recently and only on A12

This is EXACTLY how I would like to see it executed. Just include the plugin coded into the app as a settings panel (like how they included the SponsorBlock plugin) and see that many people will turn the feature on.

Also, the dev of the plugin gets credit and his work will get popular thanks to the MASSIVE exposure of YouTube Vanced.

On galaxy s21 Vanced microG drains the battery, not used YouTube vanced, I'm on Android 12, where is the problem ?

After searching around not on XDA it seems that there some kind of issue with Android 12 and vanced. The vanced app has zero verified links in the open by default section.

Edit: Just installed the root version and it works as it should except it'll show an update in the play store. The non root version is clearly not working right with Android 12

Well there are some plugins out there that work (for now). This is of course not the priority here but I do agree, would be a nice-to-have. @Team Vanced does have a track history of adding in all the good stuff
Thing is, on December 13-ish Big G will revoke this value completely from the API so such plugins would rely heavily on its userbase. I just wouldn't expect this to be implemented into Vanced unless at least one of these plugins becomes a major success after API removal.

I get the endlessly repeating notifications too. Had to turn notifications off in the app.

After update latest OOS, cant install vanced root anymore. Default youtube version is later than vanced version. No uninstall updates on google play.

Yeah, the OOS 11.1.2.2 update came with preinstalled youtube version 16.30.xx, so now it seems impossible to install Vanced since its running on 16.29.39. I tried uninstall youtube with "adb uninstall --user 0 com.google.android.youtube" and succeeded, but can't seem to find a 16.29.39 apk that im able to install sadly. Hope there's a solution to this.

i fixed it just now, by removing the stock app with "terminal debloater" (magisk module), and then afterwards you're able to install vanced again through the manager.

Oh, and thanks to the team for fixing the casting bug where the connection gets kicked/reset when connecting/reconnecting. Can now connect through multiple devices with Vanced and not have to worry about that.

I'm trying to install it on galaxy note 2014 edition on KitKat.
I'm getting error message:"There was a problem parsing the package".
