I would like to have fixed focus video recording. It's constantly auto focusing during video it'll give you a seizure

there might be a way to stop autofocus, ive seen a few variables in there

Just tap anywhere on the screen while you are recording to have fixed focus. Fixed focus is an android feature. So it will work on any ICS or up android device.

Verified that Version 5 has removed the 5 minute WQHD time limit. It annoyingly flashes the timer through the entire recording, dont know if there is a way to get rid of that. Phone never did heat up as I was expecting.

Also is it possible to keep HDR in UHD and WQHD recordings? I am not sure how the camera app works or the reason behind not having HDR for either modes. My guess is the amount of power needed to do HDR while recording anything better than Full HD is beyond what the SD 805 can pull off.

Forgot to add that the flashable zip did not work, had to do it the manual way and change permissions of the apk.

Hm, thats wierd. I tried the flashable and it worked for me but I will test it again a few times and update

everyone..i have been able to kick slow mo up to 1080... but I broke a few things trying, 720 is now 1920x1080 no matter what but in return I am now able to record 1/2 slow mo at 1920x1080. Any slower and it freaks out. But anyways here is the camera test I made. Tell me what you think

Problem is I changed a LOT of things so I didn't have a "control" so I will have to start from the beginning and find what I changed to make this happen, the way I did it was dirty and destroyed 1280x720 (meaning it wasnt technically an option)

I truthfully can't tell a difference but maybe it is just me, i may try to kick it up to 4k and see if it works, 1/4 and 1/8 is what i really want to be 1080

Not tested yet (trying to drain my battery now) it is the same apk thats in the deathstalker rom with my code and lous code so i assume it works. I will know in the next 20 min though

Will this work on AOSP ROMs? If it does then I will be able to mimic every feature of TouchWiz accept one handed mode with xposed and CyanogenMod (once available).

I loaded version 8 and now i keep getting reboots. I tried wiping cache and and dalvik and same issue. At different times, but when i go into settings phone reboots. I tried flashing v8 and same thing. Went back to v7.

Edit: Flashed v7 and same thing happened.
