Gcam 6.1 apk working

Finally a complete Google camera 6.1 apk that works (almost) perfectly on our phone! All Google features are ok: video from the cam interface, night mode, hdr+, selfie camera run all fast and smooth. Unfortunately playground option and portrait mode don't work. :crying:

Hi, we have camera2api enabled by default, if you are looking for the older version of Google camera 5.x It works perfectly. No developer is working on a port for our specific hardware, so we have to try other phones portings hoping they work fine.

Which gcam version are you using and are all the functions working properly? Seems like every one I try has a green front cam.

Portrait doesn't work. Portrait Selfie doesn't work but camera selfie works. Slow motion video doesn't work. Everything else seems to work but to be honest I've only really played with Night-Site. I can use the Moto camera for all other features.

Portrait does not work. Photo Sphere does not work., Slow Motion does not work.
The magnification bar disappears during video recording. Pinching changes the magnification during video recording.
Phone warms up during app use which might be handy with taking photos in the winter. The P3 app likes to use the battery!

I did not try Lens in that I didn't want to have Google track me anymore that it already does.
I didn't yet try the RAW+JPEG option yet.

First impressions.
I had to restart the phone to get the shortcut on the Home screen to work.
The Night Sight feature is remarkable, actually quite stunning. Makes this app a keeper!
Comparing the Camera setting features to that of the stock Camera app: each has its advantages, though the stock Camera seems to have more adjustments if you are willing to learn how to use them.

I have been using GCam_Pixel3Mod_1.3beta_build.6.1.0210.apk. Works great. While sometimes it errors out, everything works.

using this one too but the portrait selfies are green. I don't really mind though I only wanted to use gcam for night sight, which works amazingly well.

I have a force at&t not rooted running 8.0
Using P3v9.1_GoogleCamera_6.1.021
Aside from the few modes that don't work the rest with fine.

Unfortunately wish I could change the place where the pics are saved to. Any ideas? I want them saved to my SD.

I use this gcam 5 version from scrubber. Stabble and very good results, automatic hdr. And next to i installed this sanity gcam 6 version. - this need to set the hdr level to HDR+ enhanced to have the similiar results than the scrubber version does.

This is some picture comparison with the Google Pixel (2016) vs Moto Z2 Force (Pixel2 gcam sxrubber) vs Moto Z2 Force (Pixel3 Gcam older version, not the sanity)

and a little issue:
when i configure the camera with the suggested parameters in the page, when i want to take a shoot, the camera button doesnt take it



but if i activate Enhaced HDR+ the camera works normally



i am missing some configuration?

I tried one of the latest Anorva8G2's Gcam version on my Z2 force with android pie.
It is working fully and properly after à few steps :

1. Download the Arnova's 6.2.030 v2.2
Gcam_6.2.030_Advanced_V2.2.190716.1800-Final.apk on official page (can't post the link)

2. Install the APK on the phone

3. Launch it and validate all the autorisation it needs

4. At this point the rear camera won't work. To fix it go to settings and change the rear camera resolution settings and change it back to whatever you prefer. Personnaly I prefer 16:9 resolution.

5. Last problem to fix is the green tint on the portrait mode with front camera. To fix it:
- go to paramètres -> about -> and enable advanced mode -> then reboot the app.
- go back to settings -> HDR+ option -> in the fix device section you will find "fix hue on front camera".
Select pink hue.

6. Here you go. A fully working Gcam mod on your Z2 force. You can disable the advanced mode reboot the app to prevent to modify another setting by mistake.

Tell me if you have any other recommandations in some settings.

Thanks. I have enabled everything for pictures as you suggested and it seems to be working well. Do you have any suggestions for video settings? I'm on a custom rom, so I'm not sure if it's my phone or gcam but my video is black screen.

Maybe that's the problem. I'm stock and video is working well for me.
I didn't change any settings exept what I indicate in my previous post.
Mabe try to change the video resolution setting as well. I use UHD 4K.
I hope that will fix your problem.
