Thanks again!i tested again. think all is fine and super
Can you explain what you mean by "not working"? For example, when you select "dim" is it equivalent to "bright"? Thanks!Just testing, but I think the dim setting isn't working for me.
However I only just got it to work at all with the last test, so not that bothered yet...
Keep up the hard work:thumbup
I'm not aware of such an app, although I definitely agree with you about the vibration being unnecessarily violent. I've found that different ROMs make a difference; for example CM10 is less violent than stock (my phone is a One X though, not a One X+). I'm currently using a Galaxy Nexus as my daily driver and the vibration "violence" is much lower, almost imperceptible, and I love it! Overall, my One X is still better though and I'll be returning to it in the new year.wow great!
is there any app that can adjust the vibration on them, i dont mean on/off i mean turn it down a bit. on my 1x+ the back button and home key are very very violent
Thanks for reporting this.Tested dim full bright and off all work perfect muchmore better now!![]()
It's indeed an interesting idea, but from what I can tell it's not possible. I've heard a rumour that the One X+ has different colour button backlight in certain regions with certain carriers, but I have yet to see this with my own eyes. Also, nothing in the kernel sources suggest that it's possible.Good work man...thnx..
Maybe, just an idea...change the colour oft botton lights?...is that possible?
Thnx..
I'm sorry, didn't make it clear did I...Can you explain what you mean by "not working"? For example, when you select "dim" is it equivalent to "bright"? Thanks!
Thanks for clearing it up. That makes perfect sense. Several users have reported the same behaviour so it's definitely a legitimate issue, or perhaps a side effect of a specific custom ROM and/or kernel's tweaks. I'll need to get to the bottom of this.I'm sorry, didn't make it clear did I...
The dim setting works but I see no difference between dim and bright.
Hope that helps?
Same for me no difference between the dim or brightness. Rom Android Revolution 6.2Thanks for clearing it up. That makes perfect sense. Sweet. Thanks for this info.Excellent work although the prev works like a charm already
That's interesting behaviour. There is certainly no logic done in the application itself where its behaviour depends on the ambient light level detected by the light sensor. The behaviour you are experiencing is either a coincidence or perhaps something else is happening in the kernel. Would you be able to capture the information (either via screenshot or the "copy" button) on the Settings -> Debug Information screen of the application and paste it into a reply to this post? The information there may shed some light on the root cause.I've notice that my capacitive button doesn't always light up, it depend on how much ambiant light it detect when unlocking the phone (and maybe later on). It would be great to be able to change those numbers.
This is a great suggestion, and in fact is currently in the backlog: https://code.google.com/p/hox-cap-butn-brightness/issues/detail?id=11. I have never written a home screen widget before but I have done a bit of reading and it's definitely doable. I don't have an eta for you thoughEven better, it would be great to have a widget, a bit like those stock htc widget to switch sound profile, but for the brightness. It could be click to switch to next settings or click for on/off.
