Also pixel get special apk i noticed on my Pixel 4 XL is not the same as play one.

There are two versions of the phone app. The regular and lite. What options and features show up has to do with the phone it's installed on or if you are rooted and change the xml config. There is no special apk.

Hmmm that's most likely what I saw the lite one on my Pixel. But it didn't have same manifest options also. And yes I agree it depends on the device.

None, we would need Google signature and that's impossible.

Well I just thought of cloning lol. That would work...Google search cloning apk's. Needs to be a different package name.

I have a coworker who gets about 20+ spam calls a day. Is there anyway to get the call screen to work? Or a separate app? Its ridiculous how many spam calls she gets, wanna do what i can to help.

Was exactly looking to solve the same question. With the Google phone app v53 from the play store insisting to be set as default for both incoming and outgoing calls, I can't use it as a simple dialer. I need the Samsung phone app to remain default in order to record calls.

Sorry if asked before, I will do my googling of this thread. Just 254 pages to go. Would be nice to have an instruction under the OP #1 if there is a solution.

I am am also able to install this version on my Huawei P30 Lite but i reverted back to the patched version because the google version asked me to set it the default phone where as i am able to use the patched version as a dialler only without issues.

i have a t-mobile galaxy tab3 that is unlocked and rooted on kitkat 4.4.4 which is unfortunatly the latest official version. the tablet has a phone app buried deep in the system but have been unable to get it on the home screen to actually make phone calls, i have data and text via LTE 4G no problem, but have been trying to get the ability to make calls as well without using a voip.

i downloaded the latest stable version of this google phone apk but get an unable to parsh error when trying to install.


has anyone installed this on a galaxy tab3?
