Yes you can but you need to remove or disable sony sound enhancement

Hi everybody,

Could anyone help me?

I read and re-read everything posted at the begining of this thread regarding to the installation method.

I have a Xperia S with CM 10 running in a JB 4.1.2. I don't exactly know which are the files I need to install walkman, album and movies. Because in my opinion everything in mixed up...

Please help me with installation because every time I tried the installation failed... Do I need something which Im not concern about it? I've already downloaded every single file from this thread.

Beats Is Useless Really -_- My Previous Phone Was Xperia U And I Simply Loved Walkman In It Actually I Dont Want To Install Cyanogen Coz i simply hate that crap,is there any way to remove beats and install walkman with sound enhancements in sense 5.0??

For those that told that Walkman is not working (nor player nor sound enhancements) probably is because you have another audio mod or something like this in your phone. I had Pure Audio and the player worked but the sound enhancements and then clearaudio not... After a dirty flash that removed pure audio I reinstalled Walkman and it works fine with sound enhancements and clearaudio... Unfortunately I tried to install Viper but it seems incompatible with Walkman! Just sharing my experience!

You might want to try other ports from xperia z2. They are newer and works with cm11.

Not working

Walkman not working on my xperia e dual (C1604) android 4.1.1, pls help
I followed all the instructions and also installed the WALKMAN FIX.zip
It already installed in the system, but could not load, it wont appear in the app drawer

Since there is only internal memory it has to be accessed as mtp.
This is ok connecting to a pc but fails when connecting to my car USB.
This connection supports mtp but after installing walkman it starts reading my device, stops after about 15 secondes and then gives me the message: not connected.

How to solve this?

Hi, this issue is due to being on aosp roms, aosp does not include MSC mode, i face the same issue my car radio wont read it in MTP mode, i have tried MSC fixes posted all over xda (text line mods) softwares,ect, but doesn't work unfortanetly and ends up breaking MTP aswell.

if you are on stock ROM, fix this by putting an sd card and using MSC.

they never included MSC mode in aosp roms since JellyBean 4.1, i have requested it multiple times but gave up since not many think its an issue.

easy solution? moved all my music to ext-sd card and when need be, use a memory card reader, take out my sd and put the card reader into my car usb (which admittingly is a pain in the ass).

We just have to bite our teeth and hope they will one day bring MSC mode to aosp.
