I know that Xperia is already mentioned in the thread as not working. But nowadays Sony UI is pretty close to AOSP. Has anyone perhaps tried gravitybox on new Xperia phones? Eg. Xperia 1 III

Yes, im using with magisk and Lsposed, enable all these and reboot, then gravity box will work

No, it won't. Or, yes it will. Have you at least rooted your device? Do you have LSposed installed?

This thread is littered with questions about non-supported devices, non-supported ROMs, and A12.

All you all running anything other than stock A11 or Oxygen OS A11:

If you are running a custom ROM, or an OEM ROM from Sony, Samsung, or any other brand...

"Close to AOSP" is not the same.

Root your device with Magisk; install riru; install LSposed; install GB and see if it works.

You at least have to get to step 3 before you can install GB.

Some functionality may work or most, or all, or none. You may bootloop your device along the way, either with GB or the LSposed framework itself. Or even with Magisk.

LSposed does not play well with Safetynet even if you are adequately hiding root from banking apps otherwise. So, sure, you may get GB up and running with most functionality intact, but then your banking app is blocked.

And, no, as far as what has been stated publicly, the Dev is not working on a version for A12. If it happens, it will come sometime after he gets A12 stable on one or both of his devices. Some have gotten this module working on A12 beta, but it's a crap shoot, and not supported.

Hello, not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not. However, I have an issue. When attempting to remove the navigation bar on my Pixel 5 it doesn't work. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

I had this issue as well. Go to Magisk --> Settings --> Click "Systemless Hosts". That's it. This will make it so your system is read/write instead of just read. I'm probably butchering the explanation, but that's the jist of it.

Is there somewhere that gravitybox stores log files or something? Maybe it's something else but my nandroids always seem to grow in size a lot faster when I have gravitybox enabled. Cheers and even if it does do that it's worth it lol

AFAIK, GBox only sends log to XPosed logging when the option for error logging is enabled and even then it's not saved to disk.
Regarding your nandroid size, I'd say it's most likely something else.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to get a system-native notification ticker like I remember GravityBox once had, since I really hated Heads Up notifications and could not adapt to it since day one. I couldn't find this feature after installing GravityBox on Android 11, has it been removed?

Hello. I am using GravityBox and LsPosed. Everything works beautifully. However, I can't set one thing. It's about QuickSettings. The Network Modes tile has too large an inscription. It is the inscription 2G, 3G or LTE, depending on which mode is enabled at the moment. This inscription is too big. Until it goes beyond the icon. Is there any way because I checked the available options and to no avail. Sometimes, only after starting this LTE inscription is matched, but after a while it is already large and does not fit. Is there a way to do that?

Hi @C3C076, have you been able to check Android 12 beta yet? I wonder how difficult it would be for you to adapt GB to it.

I know I'm not updating until GB is fully functional! I can't live without this great app!

Sorry for the double post: does anyone know how to enable GB with LSPosed? I ticked the recommended boxes but GB is not responding. Any help please?

Edit: figured it out! Just tick "System Framework" and "System UI" in LSPosed. I had to uninstall/reinstall the GB Unlocker from the Play Store (GB wasn't detecting it and stayed frozen) and voila!
