Did you find a way?

Anyone? What is the process for creating our own themes?
find location of this theme by name
/system/etc/gboard_themes
or Gboard data (non module)
/data/data/com.google.android.inputmethod.latin/files/themes

(or go to module location /data/adb/modules/rboard-themes/ and to the same location as above)
open ZIP
open .css files and find the color you want to replace with hex pipette
replace color
open metadata.json and change id of theme to something else because without it gboard will think it's previous theme and will load from cache.

later you can put this theme zip to another zip and change .zip to .pack and import using rboard
Or use Rboard theme creator- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.dertyp7214.rboardthemecreator

It works great with Oxygen OS 11 with the magisk module.

But I can't get it to work with Oxygen OS 13.

Any suggestions?

you should know that oxygen os is 1:1 color os
read known issues about it. Magisk doesn't support custom props on color os and oxygen os.
turn off magisk in rboard settings
Similar but didn't know it's exactly 1:1...
And OOS12 was more similar.
Are you sure it's exactly 1:1?

I uninstalled the magisk module through the app , uninstalled the app. Installed it again, choose NOT to use magisk module, I figured that would be the same as "turn off "Use Magisk" in settings", that was mentioned in the first post to get it to work with color is. Sadly it didn't.

I got non-magisk module working. Too bad that auto switchings themes aren't a thing without the module. 😕

Works flawlessly on Evolution X A13

I miss the great Gboard sounds from Oxygen Os 13. Different than stock or OOS 11.

Is there any possibility to add these as a sound pack?

Or if someone can extract the sound files since I'm not on OOS 13 , and with some instructions I can create a sound pack.

Here are the key press sounds pulled from pixel 6 pro.

Can you post the file location where they were in Pixel 6, probably not the same on OOS 13 but hopefully someone can extract those

do you all have rooted phones?
I'm looking for a gboard with different themes but I don't want to void the warranty

Yes. Need root. I'm in no position to tell people how to handle their device, but with system less root I don't see how you can void your warranty. You can revert back to unroot anytime.

Is there a way to make the keyboard shorter yet even the extra short is too tall for me. I been using Swiftkey and due to the profanity filter being forced now in it and the prediction being so bad moving to GBoard but it really takes up too much room.

There are magisk mods that reduce or do away with the space. In gboard patches-->all patches or all preferences there is an option to manually control kb height.

So the module installed by RBoard Theme Manager I see no options for the Magisk Manager RBoard. So do I need to download RBoard Module somewhere else and if so where?

No, in rboard theme manager, pull up the bottom tab and go to Gboard flags. Then look for manual change to height in all flags or all preferences. See screenshots

Awesome realease! Everything working so far (Zenfone 8, Android 11 - ZenUI 8.0).

Maybe changing the behaviour of selecting ALL themes when choosing a Keyboard Pack.

Also, isn't there a flag to colorize the NavBar?

Can you add a provision for themes changing randomly and intervals. It will be great if you can , please
changing theme require force close of gboard app. means that randomly your phone will lag and keyboard wont open from 5-10 seconds in random intervals. i bet nobody wants that.
