Hello guys,
I'm back again,
And I have an announcement to make...

Notice: There is a reason each app has it's own thread, it is so more people do not post the same things which are already here, and it is also to prevent confusion. If all the apps where in one thread, it will be very confusing with bug reports and finding the app itself in such a thread, hence the multiple ones.

How would you feel, to have the AOSP Contacts app, on our sense Roms?

Well it is here guys! I have been working on it, and it is finally brought here to us! It has all the features of stock AOSP, and a few which the HTC one didn't have, or isn't as easy to access.
I had to change some coded parts but other than that, it is all good.

There are two versions, just like my wallpaper packs, AOSP messaging and AOSP browser, they are located here:

The first version will be for all those beginners, and noobies out there.
The second version is for the more hardcore members, and involves using ADB. To know where to push this app, look on the second post!

This can be installed on the sense edition of revolution, but it is made for both the Super Stripped and De-Sense Editions

There are a few installation methods which you can use to install this Contacts app, there is one for beginners as well as the mire experienced members, who prefer using ADB rather than install zips.

• Custom built flashable zips for both the inexperienced members here at XDA, or just the plain lazy members who don't have much time on their hands.
• Copying the individule APK to your phone,please be aware that this app does not go into the data partition, only the system partition! For example, these directories below are for inexperienced members, who are willing to try things out, and learn a little more about their phones file system, and how it is structured:
  
  The incorrect directory to copy the custom AOSP Contacts app to via ADB:
  

  /data/app/contactsxxxx.apk

  
  The correct directory to copy the custom AOSP Contacts app to via ADB:
  

  /system/app/contactsxxx.apk

If you push the Contacts app to the wrong directory, you may have a lot of system force closes, and the app will not work. This is why you NEED to push this app to the system directory and not the data directory.

How to use this app?

Use it just like your normal Contacts app.

Yes, but it is for the Super Stripped edition, and the De-Sense Edition, not the Sense version of revolution.

It is because it has been edited to run on the revolution rom my friend.

It´s okay, what files I need? You can make a .zip for the stock rom´s? I use Slim Sense because taht is deoxed xP

Its just the contacts app it's self you need, nothing else. Delete the first contacts app, them push the new one it should show up.

Well I found a bug. If I want to combine a normal SIN contact with a facebook contact the app crashes.
I did a clear flash so..
