I don't have the Magisk module, so replacing at a glance with a widget etc isn't working. I've tried running 'com.google.android.apps.nexuslauncher.plmoverlay' without success. Any suggestions as to how to restore the module would be appreciated.

Are you running a custom ROM with the module 'included'? You can just extract the module from the APK. It's in assets/overlay/module.zip.

I'm running Pixel Experience but was introduced to the app via Pixel Launcher Extended. However, when moving to version 1.3 from 1.2 of this I got caught in a bootloop and uninstalled Magisk to get out of it. This led to the described issue (using your app independently now).

Thanks for the advice. That's seen the module reintroduced. One issue I have, after resetting your app and clearing the pixel launcher storage, is that the at a glance clock and date isn't being removed when a top widget is active so they double up. It used to work before. Any ideas?

Thanks for your efforts either way!

It's a little buggy with some Pixel Launcher versions, I need to get round to fixing that.

I've been using Pixel launcher mods for a while now and since I updated my Pixel 6 Pro to the February release yesterday pixel launcher mods has been broken. When I try to access the app it says that it needs root access, but I have root access. Not sure why it is happening but I have root access. Google sure knows how to screw things up!

It was working for me on the February release on my Pixel 6 Pro. I just updated to Android 14 DP1 and it appears to still be working.

I added some material you icons for some and it works great. Now i disabled themed icons, and everything was ok, but after some time app icons become themed icons. I tried with re apply, but nothing...
And when I turn themed icons again this happens.
Any solution ?

The themed icons toggle in the launcher is separate from the one in PLM. You need to reset any icons that are changed.

Please add multiple app pausing on the pixel launcher, it sucks pausing many apps manually, I prefer app pause since paused apps don't wake up often

It worked fine before I flashed the latest public factory images, but now it doesn't work and there is no magisk module after I install it. Recents transparency and hiding apps don't work.

Update: manually installed module.zip and it is working now.

Thank you for the app Quinny899
I am on Crdroid android 13. The app keeps crashing on the last update (Never opens)

It was working flawlessly on CheerishOS android 13. But not on Crdroid

Any solution please?

    Pixel Launcher Mods

Pixel Launcher Mods is a root app for Android 12+ that enables you to add a number of features to the stock Pixel Launcher, without needing Xposed.

    • Custom icons, including icon packs, adaptive icon packs and Lawnicons
    • Custom themed icons, add themed icons to apps that don't yet have them officially
      • Generate themed icons from supported normal icons
    • Replace the At a Glance or Search Box with a widget of your choice
    • Hide apps from the app drawer
    • Resize widgets beyond their original bounds, down to 1x1 or up to the maximum size of your grid
    • Hide the status bar clock while the Pixel Launcher is visible, for ultimate minimalism
Please read the FAQ before installing or making issues / asking questions

    How It Works

Interested in how Pixel Launcher Mods works? You can read all about it here

Old versions, which can only be used on older versions of Android than 12, can be found here

    More Themed Icons (Android 12)
On Android 12, you can only change apps' themed icons to icons already in the Pixel Launcher. You can add more icons to the launcher using Magisk modules that provide an overlay, such as this one.

Just released an update, version 1.1. Changes:

    - Added option to clear all icon and label changes without having to clear data of the launcher (so without losing your homescreen layout)
    - Added Chinese translation thanks to shuaiwen shen
    - Reapply option when launched from the app shortcut no longer appears in the recent apps

Is on Labs so you can either update using the XDA app or download the APK manually from the labs page here
