The app works fine. I am running an ATT Samsung Note 2 running CleanROM Ace 5.0.
A next step might be to have the brightness control come up when you use the "brightness" toggle.

Be careful!
When using this app AND in addition turning the light on with another app, the maximus light will be increased! It seems to me that the values of light will be summed up! So when using only 20 percent of full light, it will be increased up to 120 percent when turning the light on with another app. That is very dangerous!
I noticed this with TeslaLED (all working methods) but not with the stock TouchWiz widget.

Another problem for me: The flashlight seems not to be off @0 percent. In an absolute dark room I can see a little glow. Seems to me that the flashlight is not fully turned off at 0 percent.
Are you sure it is not phosphorescence ? White LEDs contains phosphors that continue to glow faintly for some time after being turned off.

Another minor issue :
- Turn light on with "Adjustable Torch"
- Turn light off with notification
- Re-open app via the task switcher (long press home)
=> app exits without doing anything

Everything else work fine, thank you.

I haven't noticed that until now. But maybe your're right and it has to do with the chemical composition (especially phosphor) of the flashlight. Will test it this evening :)

Good app except for the little bugs ;)

Which XPrivacy version is this? As you can see, the green key icon is missing, which means I don't have permissions for location.

Can you tap the arrow on location? I want to see the methods used.

Edit: here's a screenshot of XPrivacy on my device.

Here are some shots of the sub-permissions and the version.

Oh , I should mention that the Google Play Store says that the SCH-I545 is incompatible with this app. Downloading from your link the app works just fine!

Sweet error handling. If the device is not supported it prompts to uninstall...
Best error handling app...
