Terrible echo

Hey, I installed beats audio on my rooted SGH-i747 and got bad echo in phone conversations and Bluetooth, so I had to uninstall, if someone needs instructions on how to uninstall go to help section under menu and see uninstall here section, Remember Titanium back up everything, my phone got stuck on Samsung logo and i had to reset/ wipe and restore everything, good luck

Go to installer app and find help section under *here* you will see uninstall guidelines, follow them, all files are in there, also search for beats audio uninstaller app, it works good too

Nope. There is not way to delete this which is why I warned you to make a backup. Either do what the post up there says, or do a clean wipe and flash your rom again.

I used the [ROOT] Beats Audio Installer.apk to install Beats Audio on my VZW Moto Droid RAZR HD XT 926 and it installed with no issues...The instructions said that the app could be removed after install with no problem since it was just an installer app. I see no way to verify that it was installed or any way to configure it ???

My only change on my phone is that I see a new folder on sdcard0 named .beats_cache with alot of files.

The Beats Audio Uninstall pdf files manually doesn't mention anything about the location or name of the files on my phone ???

Is it installed ??? How do I know if it is working ???

Sorry about the late response, I've been bogged down by school. However, if you used the installer app, then you can see if it worked by seeing if a beats audio notification comes when you plug your headphones in. If it doesn't come up, you can also check by going to your music player and then pressing equalizer. You should see options such as beats boost etc.

I've been using Beats Installer on my Rezound for months without an issue. I updated to the newest release last night and everything sense-wise has been deleted or uninstalled somehow and audio is completely gone.

I did a nandroid backup just in case it can be fixed. Otherwise, I reverted to an older backup (running Beats Installer perfectly fine).

I wouldn't be sharing this if I didn't think that it was helpful, so please look into this.

There is an app on the play store called [ROOT] Beats Audio Installer. It is made by motioncoding, so all the credit and thanks should go to them. What this app does is that it installs the beats audio drivers to any android phone, as long as the phone is rooted. It is advised that one makes a backup of their data (nandroid and titanium will suffice), because once you install this app and run it to install beats audio, you can't uninstall this. The only thing you can do is factory reset. I have used this app and it worked for me. My music quality is substantially better. YOU DO NOT NEED BEATS HEADPHONES FOR THIS APP TO RUN. I do not know if this app will give you beats audio quality sound if you use youtube, pandora, or spotify. I believe that it shall, if you use headphones to listen to your media, because a "beats audio" notification appears every time you use headphones. I do not know if a lot of people know about this, but I just wanted to share this app, because I believe it is great. The link is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.motioncoding.beats&hl=en

There is also a mod that you guys can try. You need to have DSP Manager for this to work, but you can try to see how it works without it. Remember, i am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. The flashable zip is linked.

If you have any questions, please comment. Remember, thank motioncoding...and you can press the "thanks" button if i have helped you :p

    apk file attached.

sorry about the link not working. They changed the name of the application so, I edited the link in the first post, and here is the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.motioncoding.beats&hl=en

Sorry dude, the link is not available now and that's why i just attached the apk here directly.
    Thanks dear.

Mod Edit : Link to warez removed.

This is pretty cool. They say they use Rockodev's beats mod, but having this app to do it for you is nice. (Also having the notification is sick!)

I find the first review funny, he says "the app works without root, notification appears, but please actually make the sound quality better" lol he doesn't realize...

How do I unistall the drivers?
yeah...there isn't anything you can do, except titanium backup all your apps, except the beats audio installer app, and then factory reset.

There is another mod that gives you better audio. Just flash it in CWM or TWRP. I find that both of these work about the same, but i don't know if the app in the OP works over bluetooth. This mod does.
