Hi. Did the apk from above and worked fine. I noticed a difference. But now I have no music going to Bluetooth. Nothing from Pandora, iHeart, TuneIn, Slacker or stock music player. Everything's fine with headphones tho. Anyone else got this problem or any fixes for this?
Works, and does actually sound better. BUT, breaks the stock equalizer (accessed within Google Play Music) and I also lost use of Bluetooth audio using my Beats Wireless on my Nexus 4. Also, there's no way to actually uninstall the app so make sure you backup.

Hi, I actually used this during my Samsung Captivate days. It turned out to be a decent mod but its nothing you can't do with a little DSP Manager tweaking in CM. I'd recommend this Mod to people who have lower end phones or older phones for a little spice if you will. The beats logo will not only look cool but other people who have androids that arent HTC will be envious and amazed @ the suddle difference. Trust me it works. :good:

DSP Manager has stopped working
Hi im currently running Kit Kat 4.4, Rooted on my Samsung Galaxy i9100. I have recently installed the Beats Installer and now since whenever i play a song it plays the music/sound but an error message always comes up saying that "unfortunately, DSP Manager has stopped"
I then have to close this message before i can skip to another track. Has anyone hot any idea why this is happening and what i can do to resolve this issue.
Unfortunately i made the school boy error of not backing up before i installed the Beats Installer is there a way of uninstalling it without reflashing my rom again?
Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, you can't uninstall it... If u woul remove beats, u have need a backup or nandroid backup, before applied this mod.. :-/ or format and deep clean ur device..

22I wouldn't be sharing this if I didn't think that it was helpful, so please look into this.
There is an app on the play store called [ROOT] Beats Audio Installer. It is made by motioncoding, so all the credit and thanks should go to them. What this app does is that it installs the beats audio drivers to any android phone, as long as the phone is rooted. It is advised that one makes a backup of their data (nandroid and titanium will suffice), because once you install this app and run it to install beats audio, you can't uninstall this. The only thing you can do is factory reset. I have used this app and it worked for me. My music quality is substantially better. YOU DO NOT NEED BEATS HEADPHONES FOR THIS APP TO RUN. I do not know if this app will give you beats audio quality sound if you use youtube, pandora, or spotify. I believe that it shall, if you use headphones to listen to your media, because a "beats audio" notification appears every time you use headphones. I do not know if a lot of people know about this, but I just wanted to share this app, because I believe it is great. There is also a mod that you guys can try. You need to have DSP Manager for this to work, but you can try to see how it works without it. Remember, i am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. The flashable zip is linked.

I find the first review funny, he says "the app works without root, notification appears, but please actually make the sound quality better" lol he doesn't realize...

yeah...there isn't anything you can do, except titanium backup all your apps, except the beats audio installer app, and then factory reset.
