Do you plan to release the source code? I'd like to know how this is implemented, I'm basically just interested how you can control the Glyth interface with root, so source code is not necessary, a sample would just be perfect if you'd like to. Thank you!
Yes I do plan on releasing the source when the initial development is done.
Currently I am just writing to sysfs.

templates would be quite good. The app serves its purpose. For. For my taste, it's a bit cumbersome to use and you have to put a lot of time into it. maybe you can integrate into the app that you can certainly assign certain animations yourself I'm glad there's finally an app for it

Actually custom roms on A13 have not the ful API for Glyph support. Your app working fine, so it's possible you rework/create patern preset for notification/ringtones ?

Many Thanks

I'm not sure if it's supposed to work or not on custom roms but I tried this on Paranoid Android (Android 13), it only functions partially, lights are editable manually but when I try to create a preset it seems to be stuck on the first light, and I can't edit it to select the others.
I haven't tried on stock.

So this app does what you can do yourself with

*#*#533#*#*

? And this gets you ads AND needs root?

This app does a lot more than the ledtest engineering app. The ledtest app only lets you test 4 zones and doesn't need root because it's a developer test app. This app lets you control 16 zones and create your own patterns/sequences and needs root because it's a normal app. @xSynatiC

Is it possible with this app to turn on the glyph when the screen is on and turn them off when the screen is off? Just for design ^^

Hey!

I wasn't really satisfied with the app's pattern editor, so I created a tool for it with FL Studio 20, and python. It's not too user-friendly to import/export the patterns but it's not that hard either. If anyone interested, you can download it from my github.

Wait, so how many addressable zones are there on NP1? 9? Or is there some granularity to some of them except the charging LED strip?

EDIT: from what i can see there are 9 zones but charging strip is granular up to 8 steps

What kind of integrations are you planning?
To start things, a better music visualizer, tasker integration, maybe even a custom api.

    Great work! Love it!
It would be cool if there would be a way to share patterns with the community or import/export them

    16. I was confused first too, but it works on my phone, I can confirm that.
    Camera - Zone 1
    Tick - Zone 2
    Horse Track has 4 - Zone 3-6
    Vline has 8 - Zone 7-14
    Dot - Zone 15
    Recording Indicator - Zone 16
