After over 10months, my touchscreen starts to be extremely unresponsive... Sometimes.
It's so weird.
Just tried this app and it didn't help :/ Thanks anyway

E' questa la procedura giusta??They opened to me an RMA 3 weeks ago, in 2 days i reserved courrier delivery, and in a week from it goes away from my hand, i had a new opo in new box with new cable etc. So my suggest is: request an RMA. They are the best.
Since I am considering doing that myself (as the RMA process is painfully slow and there is no guarantee that the new unit will not have the same problem after a while), can you please elaborate a little more on the process (things to watch out for, etc)?**** that. It's a grounding problem with the hardware. The screen connector touches the metal frame.
I opened my phone today and tried to insulate it. And it freaking worked. My screen is back to perfection :good:
Why not just deny the vibration permission in the privacy settings? That's what I didCan you remove the vibration?

Well no, it worked for a day, now it just got back.. Pissing me off really hard.Since I am considering doing that myself (as the RMA process is painfully slow and there is no guarantee that the new unit will not have the same problem after a while), can you please elaborate a little more on the process (things to watch out for, etc)?
When you say it worked, do you mean it truly, totally worked (could this be a placebo?). The thing that freaks me out most concerning the screen unresponsiveness issue is how slow long lists scroll... They used to reach the top/bottom with just a small fling of the thumb and now I have to fling 3-4 times to get there...
What scares me most on the disassembly procedure is separating the screen from the chassis (heating it, etc). Was it easy to do or should I be looking at buying a new screen after I try?Well no, it worked for a day, now it just got back.. Pissing me off really hard.
Yeah, list scrolling, typing.. It's not tapping anymore, it's pressing.
Probably I forgot to insulate a part of the connector which now touches the metal frame again.
I'll repeat the process today and post back.
If you want to try it yourself, I used this post from the Oneplus forums: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...-hint-it-was-never-a-software-problem.186235/
hi, how do you do this please???Why not just deny the vibration permission in the privacy settings? That's what I did![]()
Maaaaan, can you please describe how you did it? this thing is driving me nuts again! It stopped a while ago but came back again. Any video of how to fix it?**** that. It's a grounding problem with the hardware. The screen connector touches the metal frame.

It isn't THAT difficult, and the screen won't break. The adhesive is only around the edges of the screen. What scares me most on the disassembly procedure is separating the screen from the chassis (heating it, etc). Was it easy to do or should I be looking at buying a new screen after I try?

Its usually when a touch is detected (and executed on the screen) when it is not supposed to be, see the videos at the below link for examples. Please describe me, What is gosth toutch, i never have problems with the screen, and I dont know What is that problem.
Can you explain how oneplus rma works? You sent the phone? And how long it takes?I did a RMA, received a new phone produced in March '15.
It was fine for two weeks and now the problem is back.
