Yes, I had to send them a screen video and pictures from the phone, after this, I received an email with the information for DHL, I filled out the document and sent it back. After this I had to print a sheet of paper with information for the reperature and put it in the package. Then my phone was picked up from DHL and about a week or two ago I received the new phone, that has the same touch problem, too. I can't understand this company how stupid they can be, they sell defect Phones. I want to get my money back, but I was too slow. Within 15 days you can send it back and get your money back.

How to disable the vibration? In Cm 12 I don't know where i can see "vibration permission" in the app permission, only wake up and startup

In my case, the best results (in terms of user experience and effect) with the Tasker are when I just set shell command "cat /sys/class/input/input0/baseline_test" on screen off without any vibrations etc. I don't need to wait, don't need any vibration etc. Just works like without it and it feels better :)
Do "double tap to wake" works for you doing it that way?

hi, how do you do this please???

I've tried to modify it but it just keeps vibrating no matter what i do
Sure, just head to your System Settings and navigate to "Privacy"........for me it's under "Personal" on Temasek's 5.1.1 rom. While in the Privacy section, head to the Privacy Guard sub menu; in the top most right corner you'll see three (3) vertical dots, click on it and select "Advanced".

For a easy find, scroll all the way right until you find the BOOTUP tab since the app with most likely have boot privileges preset. Scroll down to Touchfixer, click on it and deny vibration.

I'm just noticing that the vibration permission is missing in Temasek's 5.1.1 unofficial, can't say with certainty if that's a r

No such option in privacy guard
^^

Can anyone confirm if a clean install of factory 44S image on a clean internal drive solves or minimizes the issue? I didn't have an issue before updating to CM12, even the reverts to 44S and 05Q still had the issue even though it wasn't originally present there, similar to CM12 screwed the splash screen when you sought a downgrade unless you flashed the splash fix.....Would try it myself if i had an OTG cable

update to cm12.1 fix issue

Hi all,
Using kitkat or roms based on cm12.0 ( aka LP 5.0.x) I had the ghost touch issue.
The fix in this forum only help partially - it makes the screen a bit more responsive - but the issue does NOT disappear complete.
Plus, while using this forum's fix you've got a delay when unlocking the screen.

As you know this issue can drive you made .
I recently updated my OPO to LP rom based on CM 12.1 ( aka LP 5.1.x - 5.1.1_r1 to be specific ).
I don't know if it's the rom it self, the LP version, the extra kernel that i've installed (AK kernel) OR the firmware update from 09.4.15 - BUT NOW, I DON"T SUFFER FROM THE GHOST TOUCH ISSUE ANY MORE !
After this update - I don't need to run this forum's fix nor add "persist.sys.use_dithering=2" to build.prop

I hope, that when you'll update your OPO, you'll get back a newly working device.
I'll be happy to hear your feedback on that.

The app helped for several days, but the phone is back to how it was. Issue was on CM11 and now on a 5.1.1 rom. Back to Swappa it goes once my S6 arrives.

What of the ghost swipe issue, did you have that before or has that been resolved or minimized in your opinion too?

Can you please share any video that shows that "swipe" issue, as I don't completely understand the specific issue...
I can tell you that the swipes while typing using free swiftkey is smooth and any swipe is register without any problem at all.
Plus, unlocking the device works as it should - I can swipe just about anywhere on the screen to unlock ( before the upgrade, I had to FIGHT the screen multiple times before I could unlock it )

It's an erratic swipe mistype when using the keyboard, I'll see to making a video
