Using the Root Explorer, copy app in to the /system/app folder of your phone
Change the permission>>pressing and holding the file until the menu pops up, then select the permissions and change as follows:

Restart your phone (Don't Install app)
(if you got a message process AccuweatherPhone2013 has stopped unexpectedly>> press OK >>Wait...10-15 seconds your device will be rebooted)
Add to home screen Accuweather widget

Not working on MJ3 and MJ5. I did copy to the relevant folder and did a reboot. Still have the default weather widget - non-transparent.
