App shortcuts in 7.1.2 pixel launcher

Whatever happened to the app shortcuts in 7.1.2 on the pixel launcher...Anybody else experiencing this? Have I missed out an option ? Pls help

Shoot...I have Nova Launcher too, could it be that app shortcuts on the Pixel Launcher is not working due that although I don't understand the connection...Btw, are you on 7.1.2?
Edit - Got it working! I cleared cache and storage...
