of course not get any update, because CU will released 25. April

now you must enable Insider in settings and select Slow or Fast... i upgraded L920 without problem with 650 ID and Insider Slow

yes, I opted into slow ring and still I am not getting the update. I think Microsoft must be knowing somehow that this is a phone with a 512MB ram

Does the MobileOperatorName key play a role?
I did not change that. its 000-IN as of now

I think this app should be updated with the ability to choose the device to be used to get the update cz maybe it's better to use lumia 650 to get the update on low end device instead of lumia 950xl

Getting redstone on lumia 625

Hello!
I've managed to get build 10586.107 on my Lumia 625 by changing these keys in the registry, from

PhoneManufacturer = NOKIA,
PhoneManufacturerModelName = RM-941_eu_hungary_918,
PhoneModelName = Lumia 625,
PhoneHardwareVariant. = RM-941

to

PhoneManufacturer = NOKIA,
PhoneManufacturerModelName = RM-984_1006,
PhoneModelName = Lumia 830,
PhoneHardwareVariant. = RM-984

So I've changed them to the Lumia 830's keys.
But even in Fast Ring, I can't get builds newer than 10586.107.
Please help me to proceed.

lumia 830 is no more supported and can't get the newer builds
use lumia 640 or one of the x50 series to get the newer builds
if you use this app you'll be using the lumia 950 XL

Wow, thank you for your fast responses :) , but sadly even this isn't working. (no update) :( .
It will not work as 512mb ram devices are blocked by Microsoft for insider program.....wait for official release of rs2 then u can get rs2 update using this app ..I'm still waiting for 25 april ... To update my L520 to rs2

After lots of searching , I found these steps and tried them out on Lumia 630 Dual SIM in the following way.

* I was on build 10.0.10586.420

1. Reset the device
2. Uninstall Extra & Info
3. Activated Wifi and turned off Auto Update in Store
4. Enable Developer Mode and Device Portal.
5. Install Interop Tools 1.7 and checked 'Restore NDTKSvc' + 'new engine capability unlock'.
6. Installed DHTAdvisor Tool(normal one) [ 512MB appx is not getting installed ]. Backup up -> Dual Sim -> Allow Update
7. Check for Updates.
8. Two updated showed up : 10.0.10586.682 and 10.0.14393.448
9. Status : Downloading Updates.

I will further update with the final results.

Also is there anything else needs to be done for future updates and whether Insider App is required ?

EDIT/Update: Successfully Updated Lumia 630 Dual Sim :)

trying to do this on my Lumia 930. Stuck with step 4. How do I uninstall the extras+info? I tried the date trick, didn't work. Currently running 14393.1066

why???? you already have 14393.1066, what you want to do?

if you want CU build, turn on insider Slow or Fast in settings...

in case you need change 930 to 950 for example, use this steps:

1. enable developer and portal settings

2. install Interop Tools ARM https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71000190&postcount=607
- install certificate on phone
- install ARM dependencies
- install Interop tools

3. run Interop Tools, select Interop Unlock

4. Enable "Restore NDTKSvc" and wait 15-20 seconds, turn off and on phone

5. start Interop Tools again, select Interop Unlock. enable "Interop/cap" and "New Capability Engine"

6. select registry browser and browse HKLM\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo

7. change this values:
PhoneHardwareVariant
PhoneManufacturer
PhoneManufacturerModelName
PhoneMobileOperatorName
PhoneModelName

Hi Dxdy,

Thanks for the response. You read my mind. Yes, I am trying to go for Creators Update. So, yesterday I tried the Interop tools, changed the settings to:
Lumia 950
PhoneHardwareVariant : RM-1104
PhoneManufacturer : MicrosoftMDG
PhoneManufacturerModelName : RM-1104_15218
PhoneMobileOperatorName : 000-HR
PhoneModelName : Lumia 950

And the system took these settings, as I could verify them in "About", but it still says no update available. Do I have to run upgrade advisor from store, or something like that?

Please advise.

    How did you do that ? using upgrade advisor app ?
    Yep, uninstall Extras&Info from storage manager and if you're insider, un-enroll your device and stay on production-TH2, Then use DHTUpgradeAdvisor, backup your DeviceTargetingInfo and hit the button "allow update".

    Install upgrade advisor from store and check for update via upadv. Wait a few hours and make somes reboots, then check for update via settings app.

    Done.
