Hello fellas, some of you know me in modaco from Omnia threads :) but hiya to all!

I continue my contribution for SRS WOW so here it is also for HD2. I do not know if it will work on other devices. Im not responsible if something happens to your device (bla bla :p ).

You might need to tweak it a bit to match your preferable profile.
Please share your settings :).

Some info about SRS:
Adds 3DEffect, Boosts Sound, Bass, Treble, Presets.

Please report for any issues that might appear.

Version 2.1 change log:
+ Ideal settings for better listening experience thanks to donalgodon.
+ Internal stereo stays on after restart.
+ Added shortcut to Programs and changed icon to both Start/Programs and Settings/System locations, thanks to VeEuzUKY.

Instructions:
1. Install the CAB to \Device.
2. DO NOT ACCESS THE PROGRAM.
3. Soft reset your device.
4. Access it's settings from Settings -> System -> SRS WOWHD or Start -> SRS WOWHD

Additional:
Thanks to VeEuzUKY for SRS icon

Sensational!!!

Thank you so much.
I used to have this on my Atom.
Could never get it working on the HD.
I had to hard reset a few times to recover from bad versions.
Woohoo!!!

Just tried using the HD2 as a media player with WoW.
Sensational. Truly Basey, and clear treble.
A pocket hifi. Ipodzilla!

What settings do you guys find best! I find the trebble is too high on most pre configured settings and on the others the sound is quieter than with wow hd off

+1

I can't get a clear and good sound with my PocketPlayer when WOW is on. It sounds much better with WOW off and SoundBooster (on WinMo) ON. I listen to Rock and Metal music, so it could be because of that. I increased the first 4 bars of low frequencies in my SoundBooster, and I get a lot of good bass and perfect vocal.

I like the following settings:

sur.: 70
center: 50
def.: 10
focus:10

TruBass: 60 at 60 Hz

Setting def. and focus levels to a low value keeps the sound as close as possible to the original recordings (i.m.o.), while adding enough suround and bass to make it sound really good.

Have you got it set to headphones or internal (stereo)?

What have you got Input and output gain settings to?

These are the settings I use for my headphones when I listen to music. Haven't played with the other settings yet. Do the settings for the internal speaker also work for the speaker of the phone during a call. Would be nice because I have noticed that my HD2 has some "overdrive" problems when someone talks with a normal volume.

For the input and output gain i use the default settings (-1 db for both)

I dont think it changes the audio output for phonecall unless you put them on speakerphone!

I have noticed that WOWHD does improve sound with your settings "slightly" when the phone is on full volume, I normally keep mine at 3 quarters so no noticeable diffrence but thanks for your settings they have been a help
