Nice browser ! I have an issue on cm12.1 (sultanxda build) with poseidon theme, the menu is all blank (background & text). Switching to another (ie: voltare) is fine.

just one thing; since I installed xposed framework the RSbrowser speed slow down. Looks like there is some conflict with Xposed, do you know what should I do? I can post the log file from xposed...Android 5.1..1

As other have reported (and I have experienced) there seems to be a frequent freeze issue generally with the CAF browser (not specifically with the samfisher83 built) .
Has anyone an idea what the cause and possible remedy could be? Thanks.

Could you please make a build that has just bookmarks tab and not the other two frequently visited and whatever the other one was. With no start page on chromium at least i can use bookmarks as a start page. Also is there an option to clear all history on exit?. Only thing that is stopping me from using chromium.

It would be nice if you could post how you compiled it so we can just build this for ourselves if we want to customize it.

Exactly the sane solution that has been posted before.
Go into app permissions and allow rs browser to access contacts.
Might need to reboot

I'm using the Xperia C3 5.1.1 stock firmware, and RSBrowser keeps crashing as soon as I open any options in the Site Settings tab.. Only a reinstall will resolve this issue for a while.

I have compiled the latest version of the m46 browser.

You can download it by signing up for the beta:

I have also added back the ability to enable data compression and translate.

However you will need to get some keys for this to work.
You can do that by going here:
https://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/api-keys and getting some keys.

To get this to work create a file at the root of the sd card or the downloads directory with the following name: rs_key_file

In it add the following lines:

google_api_key=some key
google_default_client_id=some key
google_default_client_secret=some key

These key enable the translate to work.

To get the data saver feature to work you will need to get another key for data compression. Just google for this key or if someone is smart enough you can extract it from the chrome apk and share with it the rest of us.

Add the following line:
PROXY_AUTH=Some key

When you are done you will have file called rs_key_file with the following lines:
google_api_key=some key
google_default_client_id=some key
google_default_client_secret=some key
PROXY_AUTH=some key

Place it in root of sdcard or Downloads folder. Now restart rsbrowser. If you look at the about screen it should have the keys listed. If the correct keys are there data saver and translate should start working.

If you want use the following form to generate the rs_key_file:

You guys know that Google builds every iteration of chromium on their servers. There like 10 - 20 builds a day. Lol but you just have to click a link and download it. Google it and you'll find it!

This is not the standard chromium. It is based on the qualcomm version which is faster and doesn't have ads. Also if you downloaded the automated builds translate doesn't seem to work.

Well google might kill the keys. If some one wants to share I have no problem with it, but I would prefer if my keys didn't get disabled. That is why I didn't embed them in there.

I seem to be on your latest build (46.0.2490.284), and I placed a key file on my sdcard. Since I wasn't smart enough for the "PROXY_AUTH" part, I just omitted that line. Still, the keys do not show up on the About/Help screen:
