Hello,

I'm the developer of Swipe Dialer, A dialer created to replace the stock slow S3 dialer with a more AOSP based one,

There's no any search function? In dialer tab, search button doesn't work and in contacts tab i can't find any search button/bar. Also t9 search would be nice.

But it's good start, if you add more features, i will try it again exdialer is my choice atm.

I like it but without the T9, I'm not going to use it..
Adding that would definably generate some interest..

Great start dude! That's exactly what I was looking for.

Please increase the headliner font (Dialer etc.), maybe put an icon above and make them to buttons that I can jump to the different pages directly. It looks also a little bit too close to the Status Bar.

Also could you please add the function to delete separate calls from the "Recent"-page with a long press function?
Of course T9 would be nice to see in the future but that's a cherry.

Made some good progress with T9 support today,

Working on contacts names , Just adding support for contacts phone numbers now

I'm just in the last stages of testing,

Changes include:-

T9 Support added for all names and numbers
Header is now icons not text
Some ui updates
Search from the contract screen
Spinner at the bottom of the screen when the app is loading contacts/updating

Should be a 1.1 update today I think

Really like it, the latest update did improve it a lot.

Still:
please remove the call duration, actually nobody cares about that
It just takes space and forces you to use a smaller font size.

ps: PLEASE also make a contacts app hate samsungs apps ^^

can't try app. why that? it happened only to me?

In future, can you also add search in nickname or second name?

This works amazingly, I've been looking for something like this for ages. The only thing I'm not overly keen on is how cramped the dialer looks, I thinking could be spaced out better. Don't know whether you wanna change this or not, if you do I'll probably get the donate version to help you out, but like I say this is truly amazing. Great work man.

Hi Pal,

I could really do with some help on this crash,

according to the submitted crash report its a bug in the readcontacts function, the problem is I dont know why..

Do you have any unusual entries in your contacts? any entries with strange characters or out like that?

the line of code is

" contactstock.add(new ContactStock(phContactUri, phName, phNumber, phLookupKey, coId, (ArrayList<PhoneVO>) phPhones.get(coId).clone()));"

So its either the name or the phone number at a guess, i cant see the uri or the lookup been null...

Do you have any entires that dont have a name???

It looks like the actual dialer is too close to the bottom of the screen, I think its a personal thing, the aosp one is more spaced.
