I'm still charging with a motorola turbopower which offers 3A output. what I mean is:
with 32-bit MIUI ROM and turbo toast it worked, now I'm at lineageOS 8.1.0 (oreo) 64-bit and it doesn't.

find the one making that 64 bit OS and complain there please.
This tread is not to support any device in relation to the Motorola turbo charger or wherever charger, plus you did not understand me at all by yours reply.

This app only DISPLAYS your charging status, it doesn't affect your charging status. For Motorola phones which have Turbo/Qualcomm QuickCharge capability, it replaces the Turbo/Quick Charge charging status indicator found in stock Motorola firmware but which is missing for custom ROMs.

If your device is TURNED OFF and plugged into turbo/QuickCharge charger it will still Turbo/Quick charge, but it's not going to DISPLAY that status through this app -- because the app won't be running. Your phone is turned off.
