Is your app just a notification killer or is your app a KNOX Function killer? Notification sounds to me as a message, not as a function.

I'm using a non-branded, CF-auto-rooted Galaxy S4 GT-I9505, running Android 4.3 I9505XXUEMKF with integrated KNOX. KNOX Flag Status 0x1 (warranty void)

I have installed LBE Security Version 5.1.5221 and i cannot switch it into "Active Defense" Mode, because KNOX don't allow Root Access to LBE. Now i want to kill/deactivate/remove KNOX from my Galaxy S4.

So, is your app the right way, to get my LBE switch into "Active Defense" Mode?

THX in advance

This just disables the notification popup and status bar message.

Try reading the FIRST Post at least.......
thanks for the USEFUL information.

I did read the first post. I don't really understand much about the knox security so I just wanted to get opinions and information. No need to be smart alleck about it. I just didn't want to trip up knox, voiding my warranty when I try rooting so I was asking fellow members for an advice and guidance since that's the purpose of forums like these.

At least give me some answers before you insist I do something.

have a good one.

This is a simple app that will disable KNOX notifications in the statusbar. KNOX notifications will remain disabled until you flash a new ROM.

That's the very first text there is to read so that should have answered your question I think, sorry, didn't mean to offend you!

Thank you for your response.
I just got the phone last night so I'm really new to this knox thing and didn't want to void my warranty. (You never know what may happen in life and I may have to go to sprint for warranty) I wasn't sure the knox notification on the status bar (I still don't know what that is) had anything to do with the knox counter that voided warranty if anything were to happen to my phone. That was all.

Sorry for snapping as well. I really thought that you were being a smart alleck lol.

If you want a 0x0 (non void) do not touch knox and leave it working, notifications are just there to alert you that it blocked something from harming you.
Occasionally it will tell you it updated the security policy.

Confused?? Plz Help

Sorry if this has been answered before, Ive read through thread but still im still confused??
When i root with Chain-fires CF-Auto root, i have tripped knox to 0X1. So my understanding is that this will disable the knox app and all of its "security" features from working. I dont use knox, so ive never seen this annoying popup security thing.
But if what the above stated is true, rooting while tripping knox will disable any popup security notification. If this is correct then why do we need this app. For people who have rooted without tripping knox??
I am very hesitant to have to use this from hearing all of the horror stories of hardbricking in the thread. So I am hoping that if I root with Chainfires auto root, flash Twrp and flash Jellybomb or another rom, I wont have to use this app. Would this be accurate?
Sorry for long post, but any clarification would be greatly appreciated :)

good day @Willy318is sir! I posted this long ago, and since then I have rooted with CF-Auto Root, Flashed twrp via odin and flashed Jellybomb (very briefly) , Maximus (for a long while), and im finally on cyanogenmod nightlies for the time being. I have found that there was no need for this app. (not intended to bash development, I'm sure that the dev worked very hard on it and it has its perks, I just did not need to use it.) From doing the above it seems that I found my "hypothesis" was correct. Rooting and tripping knox will cause knox to malfunction, no longer being able to notify you or block "harmful" things. I remember right after I rooted I did get one knox notification, if I remember correctly it was knox saying that knox has been disabled and can no longer function properly, do this and this to try to re-enable knox. I did something along the lines of ignore and dismissing it, and that was the last of the knox notifications i got while I was briefly on stock root. And If you notice on almost all of the rom OPs they say that they have removed knox security. I think this means that if you somehow did get knox notifications on rooted stock for whatever strange reason, flashing and being on their custom rom will guarantee that you will not get any annoying notifications. Because the rom dev removed any and all knox features that will possibly cause this pop-up. My point in saying that is you most likely wont have trouble with notifications after root, but if you do, just flash any of the custom roms and you will have no trouble at all with knox. Since that one notification I got I hadn't had any since. I believe this app was made to do the same thing that the rom devs have in their roms, back when development was more scarce. So my guess is that you shouldn't have any problems, just give some roms a try. The maximus rom is solid and the dev is even more awesome. Good luck! ;)

Unfortunately Knox has stopped working

I'm on stock rom 4.4 rooted with CF Auto method. After disabling Knox as described i constantly get the message "Unfortunately, Samsung Knox has stopped". It happens whenever i restart the phone and whenever i run apps. No negative effects really except that it is annoying and one of my sleep apps no longer works. Any clue what this is about? I tried enabling Knox again but it still happens.
