Lol, responded to you. You're on a .7 ROM, stock I believe. I tested this on the latest software, try a updated ROM, it should work just fine.

if i sim unlock mine to use T-mo's sim, will i be having problems switching back to my Sprint service? I was thinking of switching back and forth between the 2 carries. Im always on the road, so there are many places where i get better service than the other.

You shouldn't, but that's a much better question for one of the other 2 threads I have listed in the first post.

-viperboy-, I've read all of the pages, but can not solve the problem. The unlock seems to be permanent, but when I installed CM 10.2 ROM, I've lost the GSM signal. I set the necessary mode in engeneering menu, but it shows an error in "com.android.phone" and does not switch to WCDMA. Is it a problem of all non-Sense ROMs?

Ok i've tried this app and the terminal method, and both didn't work. Tried on Stock on 1.31 rooted and RageOne.

Any ideas?

Something appears to have changed on that base that doesn't allow this to work properly. Haven't had time to look into it yet.

What's your output from terminal?

I don't know the unlock procedure for it, I doubt it's like this is. I'll take a look, but don't count on it. I don't like to do things like this without having the phone.

Probably not, the procedure for the Sprint S4 is much more complicated than starting an activity as root

Are you on the latest radio? It's been known not to work with the latest radio.

I would go ahead and update the thread with information regarding what you stated earlier... The latest FW gives issues while using this. Either way, on .10 it worked flawlessly for me. I was also bone stock rooted .10 just to let you know. Need to go rate for my experience. 5* Easily From My Experience. With FW modifications like this, you MUST read everything before attempting ANYTHING. Good work on app and easy UI.

Does it work on Sense ROM 1.31.651.2

I installed those OTA updates, and Sense ROM version is 1.31.651.2. On this your app does not seem to be working. Nothing in logs either. It just has "The log is empty. Did you run the program first ?". With T-mobile sim and "WCDMA Preferred" option (*#*#4636#*#*) it does not connect to T-mo network.

My HTC One is rooted and s-off. Would switching back to v1.29.651.10 make the unlock work ?

Most likely, yes. The app developer has stated that there are numerous issues that he has seen and encountered himself stating this. .10 worked for me but unsure if .7 works. He stated a page or two back that he recommends updating from .7 to use it.

Thanks for the info! So the issue lies with the new radio. That means you'd have to downgrade the radio, which means you'll need to be S-OFF to roll pack to .10 via RUU or other method. Unfortunate, but not surprised that they did that.

No, ROM doesn't contain firmware or radio updates.
