Flash LED on standBy


This might sound stupid, but I found a lazy way of keeping what ever pattern you wish to light constantly during standby or screen-turn-off..


Set the voice-mail alert with the pattern you like, then go to setting- personal- notifications and change the voice-mail alert -> flash light to forever

then just get yourself a voice mail using other people's phone, and try to not errase that one last voice mail.....

or if you are not subscribed to voice mail service, you can always get yourself an unread email and use the same method.

ALSO! because events or notifications in WinMo is popped up automaticly, and after you press "dismiss", the notice is seen as being delivery and no light will be flashing, Which means if you accidentally pressed dismiss on that "purposely place voicemail" notice, then restart is required to activate that notice.

Again maybe people have been using this method, or this might sounds very stupid, but I'm using it now and seeing no problem.....

I do see a "StandBy" notification in the illumineria app, however it doesn't seem to work, but anyway this is a nice piece of app,

I've been trying to use that, but got exactly the same problem with the ntification lol.. Nice trick with email btw, never tried that before..

hey guys just made this blue animation file nd m using it as COMM_VOICE_CALLONGOING pattern in Illumineria, hope u like it // if anyone can make changes with it and make it better or can download some cool patterns of their own will be much appreciated

note: to make it running continuously while on call, install xperiatweek and disable screen turning off during calls...

i gonna look like a dummy but I don't understand how to use this program, which is a great great idea btw.

for example, if I want the 4leds to flash(long light) only blue when it's charging, what do I have to modify?

can I change the time the led flashes?how?

can i change the time between each flash?

thx again for this app, I was waiting for a long time to tweak the cell

I would begin by modifing the pattern Gitin has kindly provided above. If you change the delay values at the top of the config page, it should adjust when frames begin and end. Making the frame after the blue flash start later will make the LEDs fade out after a slightly longer time.

Unfortunately, there's no way to test a pattern without rebooting the phone, as the drivers only check the registry on boot.

guys its a good software as we can play with illuminations but to be very frank with u even i don't know how i made this pattern it took me around 2 hours and more than 50 soft resets as every time u make a slight change u need to restart // and that is really really really annoying // and in my pattern the start point is 6 nd then 12 nd so on... if i change it to 2 to 4 what happens is top left lights up first then the bottom left then bottom right then top right and then bottom left again so i tried changing the start value to 6 and it solved the problem dont have an idea how exactly it works but m happy as it goes in circular path // want to play more with them but dont want to soft reset every time so i'll better wait for newer version on illumineria with preview option active..........

All I can say is that it's 255 "frames". I've no idea, although i'd assume it's milliseconds... All Illumineria does is modify the registry entries based on what I've managed to decipher.

lol....if he activate the preview button then you could cklick on it but nothing would happen xD...because the button is atm only there for future use, if he have figuret it out how the preview works ^.^
so the button is placed but there isnt any code behind it ^^

i know mate wat i ve written, i know it is for future use and the reason y its for future use is dat hes working on it nd he'll cum to sum conclusion 1 day//like u can change illumination patters in settings without a soft reset and thats what v want from this software nd i know hes working on it

yes and it is very difficult to find it out how it works because it is not documented
but how you will find it out? i mean you have said it if he activate the button

just check last few pages and download blue animation pattern file, i spent a lot of time to make this so i ve already got a slight idea how it works, but to make some more patterns i need that preview button so dat i dont have to soft reset my phone 50 time to make 1 pattern file as every time u make a slight change nd wanna c how it works u need a soft reset.
m pretty sure in near future we will ve this software with preview option enabled // someone will find the scripts or documentation

the best way for u is click on modify patterns nd load diff. patterns nd c how d start nd end values differ in each of them // then start playing with d patterns, change start or end values nd u'll c d difference // this is how i made blue animation...

it would be good if someone made a program for windows where you can test out the patterns. im sure the xperia programmers didnt sit there with a phone in their hand endlessly resetting it lol. the gui should be quite simple. just a picture of the xperia and then the four corners would flash. you can then tweak the sliders until your hearts content, when youre happy just save the file and import it to illumineria.. id imagine it would be near identical layout to the illumineria program. just needs some clever programmer to animate the xperia picture.

I've been working on some patters, but I've found a bug which has made it very difficult. For some reason, my pattern changes aren't saved... I load a pattern file, change it, save it and load it again and the changes aren't there...

sorry mate try reinstalling the software, theres no such bug, if dat doesnt help u may ve to hard reset as no one else faced this problem nd i ve been using this software 4 so long in diff roms nd its running smooth nd fine...

I am having a problem. I'm able to make the color green appear in a circular patter but I can't loop it even if I enable loop.

Can you please please please make a proper user guide.

Man, the preview button doesn't even work, remove it.

And the loop button doesn't work sometimes, fix it.

Every time you want to edit a pattern on your device you have to open a template, keep the templates but please make it possible to edit currently
applied patterns.

Your patterns and events screen shot guide is useless and teaches us nothing

You need to atleast explain what the hell the index of time for start and end actually represent because it simple and yet it is tricky

It took me 5 hours to make a simple pattern, and now I have a problem in which it only loops once, and not forever.

Please just tell me how to make it loop.
