Tried on Huawei Mate 10 Pro and P20 Pro. Both install, and the app opens, before asking you to give it permissions. Whether you give them or not, it forces the app to background. When you reselect it, it just does the same and has a black screen. Once you close it and re-open it, it force quits immediately.

Ok so i 've made some small changes to miniuser version here for the menu and settings, removed some stuff hoping to improve stability.
Make sure before install this to:
-uninstall your current version of Gcam
-from smart manager clean up the memory (YES it's needed beacuse after i tryed a lots of different verisons of Gcameras i messed up something more then the app cache itself)
-install the app. DONE!
you don't need to set any settings on this apk it should work fine at the first setup.

I've only tryed it on OREO

Can you edit the one ported by arnovq..the only problem on that is pink/purple on portrait front cam.. thanks

Do you mean in the app, or in developer options on the phone? Latter nothing. Former, the only UI element you ever see in the app is it asking for permissions - you can't access any menus.

Unluckly i don't know anything about java. Only C/ C++ so it's really difficult to understand for me the source code. I ask for more info to miniuser but he didn't answer me. I guess he's busy or he don't rly want to share is fix so that's it for now! The pink potrait mode issue can be solved in COLOR_FILTER_ARRANGEMENT but comparing the two java source from aranova's apk and minuser's apk didn't get me to any result beacuse it seems to be very similar. If someone here has a better understanding of java code for android i can give him the source to compare the codes and he finds the differences i can try edit it in smali! I can't do anything more than that

In the processor exynos, still has defects and is locking enough, the front camera does not turn pink, but does not process the HDR +

Video not working

Video's not working on this nor many other versions of the Google Camera on my Exynos S7 Edge - it just immediately stops (having not recorded anything) and freezes?

HDR+ is still very slow on Exynos Note 8 running Oreo and 8.3b version of the app. Tried with all HDR options in advanced settings. What is the best configuration for my phone?

Also, I have 2 suggestions:
1. Can we have an option to backup and load configuration from a file? This would make experimentation way easier IMO.
2. Can there be a toggle to set the screen brightness to max when the app is running like the stock camera app? This app is really missing that feature.
