I didn't see anything regarding this and yes it's a noob question but how do I remove the stats? Thank you in advance.

Go to Settings > Developer Settings in your camera app, then uncheck "camera.af.debug.show" :)

Installed the AR apk nothing happens thou
EDIT: AR option now available in the options but doesn't work. When I click it, it just crashes.
How Can i use Ar stickers ...i dont find options ...I use the 3rd camera
You must be running Oreo, and you must have both the AR Core and the AR Stickers app installed for it to work from the camera app.

For the AR Core app I downloaded it from here. I installed the APK as normal rather than the adb method mentioned on the page, so you should be fine to do the same as well should you be running Oreo.

Install the AR Stickers app AFTER you've installed AR Core.

Make sure you've done all the above and it should work.

Ok I just want to thank whoever who ported the Google Camera. Finally got a version who actually works good with almost no issues or lags.
I installed version 3 on a Galaxy S8 + 7.0 Nougat (snapdragon). If you have trouble at start just go to app settings then erase data and cache. The only issue I have is that the camera doesn't proccess hdr on low light condition, the result is a weird over hdr photo, I don't know if my configuration is incorrect. With enough daylight portrait mode is just fantastic!
Btw does Samsung knows that Google Camera is so much better than their stock camera? As far as I know the Oreo update is not bringing any portrait mode at all.

Edit: AR Stickers are not working (as they supposed to do, im not using Oreo)

Hi all!
@miniuser123 has released a V4 which you can find on the OP here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/themes/google-camera-portrait-mode-t3736859

Changes vs. V3:
-front cam HDR+ workaround for S7. Still to be tested in very bright conditions. Turn on "HDR+ front camera fix" if you have an S7.
-front cam: normal pics in auto HDR+ mode are saved now
-front cam: improved non-HDR+ quality
-added a custom auto-exposure mode for HDR+ (only HDR+, so not for portrait). It is called "Slow shutter" because it will decrease shutter speed as much as possible (1/10 secs on S7) in bad light. The result: much lower ISO and noise. Of course fast moving objects will probably get blurry more easily. Only tested this on S7, on other devices it might need some tuning.

Working fine on S8 Exynos Oreo

I will update the op. But I don't know if worth keeping this thread alive because @miniuser123 created his own thread. BTW for me tap to focus on rear isn't working. Can you confirm this?

So, the latest Arnova (v1.7 beta) is working... sort of. Tap to focus works great, motion photos are there and portrait works on both cameras. Only issue is the purple tint on the front cam portrait mode, which was fixed in miniusers camera.

If there was a way someone could essentially 'merge' both of these cams, we'd have an excellent fully featured working camera port.

Someone made a v1.7 beta 2 of the Arnova cam but I can't see anything different. You can find it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75309704&postcount=114

If anyone can help that would be incredible. I can't do it myself because I don't know anything  :)

WOW - v4 is simply STUNNING! What a HUGE improvement on my S8 compared to v2/v3! Pics have WAY less noise, and more importantly the pinkish/blueish lightups in dark scenes are COMPLETELY gone AND it's rock stable.

I don't need any updates - satisfied to a 100% with v4 - thank you A LOT, @miniuser123!
