Portrait mode works excellent in front camera. It doesn't work at all in rear camera. Also, front cam takes 2 shots in portrait mode, rear does only one and it's a normal shot. No background blur. Any solution?

Portrait mode is for people/faces not for object. so you wont get blur on object. try selfie from rear cam

Try clearing cache and rebooting..solved it for me

The app works great when it does, but once I goto settings and come back even without changing anything, the camera goes black. Force closing, clearing cache etc doesn't work. Only thing works is reinstalling the app. Have tested this 5 times. Same behavior 4 times. Only 1 time it didn't happen. I went into settings and came back twice to reproduce the behavior that time. I'm on stock 7.0 Nougat Exynos S8.

I came across this thread today and installed the latest version logically assuming it'd be the most stable. I'll install previous versions and see if the same happens to me. If it does then I'll surely provide the logcat.

AFAIK those option is only available in s8's stock camera.
Get Snapseed and flip your selfies there.

try latest version and check your settings in the post attachment. Remember to forceclose the app to apply settings

I have the same behaviour, it didn't happen before. It works again if I remove the app from the recent app list.

it has HDR+ algorithm, so it takes a bit more time to process.

Edit: I checked this after updating to official build CRAP for Samsung s8.

Go to your Drive app, open tab called "Shard with me", press the 3 dot on the download and press "Download", afterwards open the file and it will install propely.

How can I enable Motion Photos? I tried to change the config to PIXEL XL II. it worked, but I'm getting black screen on viewfinder.
