It is finally available! Please let me know whether it still crashes.
The old error is fixed with the updated version. But it still doesn't work for me!? Now i'm getting the same UberRecognizerController error as if i would use the builtin voice speach service

Any idea? Thanks for your efforts though!

sorry to be so hard, but the only thing this does is put what you say in the google search
I'm not belittling the work you've done (I wish I could do things like this) but only does that not look anything like the google search now on jb.
sorry... but is true

I'm not sure we are on the same wave. Do you have Google Now! installed? Because on ICS, if you install Now, you lose Voice Search. This app just brings it back the way you said :).

Isn't it the same issue that was resolved on page 2? :)
Do you mean:

::EDIT:: NEVERMIND. While experimenting with voice input I have removed Voice Search app. After reinstalling everything works. Thanks!
No. I uninstalled the stock voice search before installing Velvet.apk.. There's actualy a "Voice Search" icon in my app drawer.. but that is from Velvet.apk (the same that draws the "Google" icon) - and not a separated App which I can uninstall. ??

haver if I understand correctly (I am Spanish and English I'm no good)
say that this is not meant to be like google search now, that when installed "google now" in ics, you lose the voice search and this replaces

I think Google Now! replaces Google Quick Search Box, not Voice Search.

Google Now voice widget

This is amazing! Thank you so much! I've been following Now for ICS for a while and love it! You just completed the package! (sorta)

Just and idea, but instead of having to open up your app with long press search button, maybe there could be a Google Now themed widget. It would be the Google search bar from Jelly Bean, when the text field is clicked it would open up Google Now app, when the voice button would be clicked it would be your app. I don't know if that is something worth looking into, but I know it's something I would like.

Really good start to something fresh!

Kinda slow in voice response, but other than that it's really good, thanks for the contribution. This really makes Now much more useful. Hoping that you can improve voice speed and maybe have the TTS speak the Now response instead of the question. If not, it is still a great app.

I got it to work by renaming the GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk to GoogleQuickSearchBox.bak2

then renaming voicesearch.apk to voicesearch.bak

and uninstalling "Voice Search for Google Now!"

Then I renamed voicesearch.bak back to voicesearch.apk and tested if voice search works. Once this was verified, I reinstalled "Voice Search for Google Now!" from Play, then tested if it opened voice search.

After I got both of those working, I renamed GoogleQuickSearchBox.bak2 back to GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk and tested out "Voice Search for Google Now!" and it opened Google Now.

Hope this helps you.

First test run worked fine. But when I press- hold the menu button, Google Now is still launched by default. Running Phantom Hacker 1.5.

Thx!
