Hi,Can anyone tell me how to permanently remove the frozen stock apps and free up some space is the /system partition?
I have a MiTV 4 55 ANSM0 which is terminal on Android 6.0. I've got it setup the way I like with everything working except the play store (won't complete install anymore), which I can live without.
Ideally I'd like to clean out the bloat and move some necessary apps to the system partition, but every time I move the apps out of /system/app and /system/priv_app, but they always return on reboot.
Are the frozen apps listed somewhere? I would assume frozen apps are safe to remove since the system is working fine with them frozen.
Cinema 2 and Cinema Pro have the same codename ("Jerry"), and both are based on FengOs / Android 9.
System partition isn't being flashed as I have makes to drop some apps on it before running out of space and they are persistent. Must be some other baked in mechanism mi uses.
2160p is exactly 4k.
Did you ever find a solution for this? The other day I got home after some days off and projector was on because I had a power glitch at home, and I want to avoid the projector to switch on automatically.
I have the same/similar issues/concerns as well about powering on the device. I have the global mi 4k model (angleeuhd). I was blindsided finding out about the way the projector powers on/off due to not having a power button. I also want to use my universal ir remote but the projector being bluetooth only, it's incompatible. I got a FLIRC USB IR receiver (turns ir signals into commands over usb) to control it with that remote, and it works great for....except it can't power it on after a shutdown because the usb ports don't work when it's off. I then decided to make the "power" button put the projector into "sleep" mode instead of shutting it down. This makes the lasers stop projecting, and the fan runs for a little while after. The problem is the projector eventually shuts itself down. I really wish I could keep the projector in a perpetual sleep mode, so that I can wake it up with the remote or chromecasting to it, and it's ready to go, no need for booting and starting android back up again. Is there a way to do that with this model? All my other modern tv's have this perpetual sleep/standby option. Also, I was also considering using a smart plug/switch to turn the projector on/off. Is it safe to turn the projector off by cutting it's power every time? I noticed that when you shutdown the fan runs a little bit after turning off the lasers. What do you guys think?
I have an idea....my smart plug has a schedule option for it. Can you set yours to be "off" all day, that way it'll only tun on when you switch it on?
That could be something at least. Every day, for instance, shut down the projector at 3 am for instance. But there should be a way to disable auto on, it is pointless. Even not having a power button on the projector, when it detects power (after pluggin in) it should go to the same status it goes when you turn off the device using the remote, so it only starts projecting after a "power on" push in the remote (at least when it has already been linked to a remote).
Same problem as well. Can't log in anymore to any account, now I can't even use multiple display profiles as I'm not recognized as premium member. Is there a fix (Batman projector)Hey guys,
I have a problem with my YouTube app and my Google account.
I'm using the xiaomi 4k laser Projector (Batman) it's rooted and I'm using the ATV Launcher.
I use the YouTube app very often, I was logged in with my Google account to have my favorites and subs, but today I started the projector, launched the app and I'm not logged in in YouTube. When I hit the Log In button, I click on my Google account, enter the password, click next and then..... the Loop starts again. Click on account, enter password and so on and so on..... Does anyone has a solution? Am I doing something wrong?

Apologies mmmalas for taking ages to respond - I've had some other issues going on lol
I could find specific examples - but as you go though here you will find more people with issues
as for the hours - I've only had the projector for a few months, and yes it just got progressivly worse.
its not an overheating issue (in terms of how hot Australia is at the moment) as I've had the projector during our winter - so it was only getting up to 20 or so degrees C.
Good Point you noted mmalas on your comments on sending the projector back to get fixed.
you would have to trust they would actually repair it, and if they sent it back to you would have to pay import tax again.
I purchased mine off Gearbest - and using their support helpdesk they were pushing for ME to contact the manufacture to get it repaired - and weren't very helpful.
but once I used paypal to contact them, they changed their tune pretty quick - and were either going to give a piss weak refund ($650 AUD) or let me send it to Hong Kong to repair.
I sat on that thinking about the best decision, but for the reasons you indicated I'm not going to waste my time.
I'm quite happy to crack my projector open and have a look at reflowing the solder - might have a look on the weekend.
Same here, the time to start up is getting longer and longer every day. I can confirm it's no overheating issue. I opened up an issue today, but after reading your experiences I'm not really optimistic right now. I should open a PayPal issue as soon as they aren't helpful. I'm from Germany so i also do not want to send it back to Hong Kong because if I do that I might never see my projector again.
I would really appreciate it if you could provide me information as soon as you found out how to fix it.
I can't understand why it only has problems when it starts up, but then it works fine for 10 + hours without a problem. It seems to have something to to with the laser unit gettin power or something like that.
If in can help in any way, just let me know how, and I try my best.
