You can't block suggested posts. I chatted with the developers once on their discord and they have no intention of letting you block them.

What I do is sideload an older version of a hacked Instagram apk. It doesn't have the features like instaprefs of saving videos and all the new app stuff but for simple feed browsing I get a pure feed with no ads or suggested posts. then I used instaprefs Instagram when I need to download or use stealth.

Really wish they would just clear suggested posts on instaprefs. Suggested posts might as well be ads. I use insta to see what my family is up to, not randoms. Tiktok is for endless scrolling random peoples content.

Which hacked version do you use? I've seen a few floating about, but am leery of them.

Instaprefs has stopped working. I h have installed Instagram 210.0.0.28.71 and the latest package in instaprefs. Deleted Cache and data of both apps. Didn't help. So i uninstalled both apps and installed it again. Issue persists.

Any suggestions? Updated instaprefs to version 2 provided by the post above mine. Also didn't help.

Edit; i found the dilution in this thread. In settings of instaprefs apply legacy storage. All good now.

Is Instagram able to detect you're running Instaprefs? My relatively new account was suspended, and I had to appeal for reinstatement. They did reinstate me once I gave them the codes they sent to email & phone, but I don't want to get perm-suspended. I currently have Instaprefs turned off, but really like the module and would rather have it enabled.

I've been using Instaprefs since the beginning of this year, and IG doesn't care; they didn't even care back when I used to run xInsta, so you should be all good in general.

BIG FIX !!
For everyone who's insta keeps crashing even with instaprefs uninstalled, just go to lucky patcher and do a 'Reinstalling Application (removes all patches)' on Instagram. After that insta will work fine and instaprefs will work as well

From where do you get lucky patcher?
Installed isn't working for me either

For me it's working on android 12, stock rom, magisk (in settings zygisk enabled)

Grant insta storage permission login
Install instaprefs, activate module in lsposed, only for insta
Reboot
Launch instaprefs, settings: apply legacy storage
Root request will come up!
Otherwise go into magisk and grant root manually
Go settings, clear cache of insta
Start insta, should work fine!

Make sure you have the correct instagram installed and the correct pack installed in instraprefs, also disable auto update in the instagram app settings
