[APP][XPOSED] Instaprefs - The ultimate Instagram utility

Am I the only one who is unable to see any pack in "Version Management" page? Tried on VirtualExposed as well as EdXposed. Is it necessary to login via Google even if I just want to use the free packs?

Hi there, can you please help me with the Instagram app version you're using? I just decided to try out Virtual Exposed this evening, and this was the first module I tried, and couldn't get it working. :/

Would it be possible to please add a few features in your next release?

Disable search history, disable explore tab suggestions, disable like button, hide shop tab icon and disable the DM notification?

Would it be possible to have view older posts automatically selected? If this doesn't work can you disable suggested posts, so the feed is blank after you have viewed all the posts?

Best feature of Instaprefs 2.0 is press and hold in version management to copy the supported Instagram version number.

I noticed a little bug, when I open zoom in a photo, and I zoom in at the maximum level, I cannot drag the image anymore, it's stuck in that point. If I zoom out just a little bit, dragging works fine.

anybody have a fix for the storage issues in 2.0, tai-chi, android 11 OneUI 3.1? when i open instaprefs, i get the pop-up to fix storage issues in android 11, but when i tap Apply, i get, "Failed to set Isolated Storage." still looking for a fix.

I'm on CrDroid A11 and I get "unable to load features". I did everything necessary to get it work. I'm using EdXposed, maybe I'll try with LSPosed later.

Now I know what to do, mate. Open Instaprefs, go to settings and tap "apply legacy storage". It worked for me

I don't know then. Maybe you should check the insatprefs group on discord

i got it to work after searching around the discord channel. i have to enable USB debugging in the developer settings and then input some adb commands via my pc.

adb shell cmd appops set com.instagram.android android:NO_ISOLATED_STORAGE all
adb shell cmd appops set com.instagram.android android:legacy_storage all
adb shell cmd appops set com.instagram.android android:no_isolated_storage allow

then force stop tai chi, ig, and instaprefs. then startup ig. it should take a few more seconds to load, but that means it's working and you should see a download arrow under the pictures in the ig app.

Doesn't this module work with LSPosed in Android 11? It didn’t work for me in Samsung One UI 3.1.

(If I press Apply Legacy Storage, it says Isolated Storage set successfully.)

I switched from the oneplus 8t to the 8 pro, same software, same apps, same modules but now I get the "unable to load features" error...any ideas?

edit: it didn't ask me to grant root, had to just reinstall the module

Small correction, run command #2 and #3 with 'allow' in the end, not 'all'.

Can you post the exact commands and steps.

I changed "all" to "allow" and my adb didn't like the capitalized "NO_ISOLATED_STORAGE " so i changed it to lowercase which seemed to have went through but instapref still not working for me.

Edit - Ok got it to work. The problem was I was on Taichi 8.0. Went back to 7.3 fixed it. Here's the commands I used.

adb shell cmd appops set com.instagram.android android:no_isolated_storage allow
adb shell cmd appops set com.instagram.android android:legacy_storage allow
adb shell cmd appops set com.instagram.android android:no_isolated_storage allow
