[APP] YouTube Ripper v1.0 (Updated 19th August)

Hi,

Look on the market for "YouTube Ripper" - it's a free application - requirements are: A SD Card, Android 1.5 or better.

After you installed you can use it like this:

1. Open YouTube application
2. Search for your favorite youtube video.
3. Press on it until a menu pops up, press on "Share"
4. Select "YouTube Ripper"
5. YouTube Ripper application pops up, press on "Rip It!"

It will then start downloading the youtube video to your /sdcard/youtube folder.

Nice app! The thing I like about this app vs the others in the market, is that it lets you use youtube to do the searching instead of the app itself doing the search. The other apps in the market cant find some videos on youtube.

Not working for me it just view to the "please wait for your download to begin" is there a progress bar that's supposed to pop up after? Running Cm 5.06

Good work, maybe make it ad supported so the market cost can be offset?

I am not sure how effective those thing are though.

I don't think it works if you are logged into ur YouTube account on ur phone... logged out worked great I can care less about being logged in YouTube lol... good job on this..

can anyone post where can i find such app, or even post a link. cannot find it in the market. i have a NEXUS one running stock kernel and rom. and of course I'm accessing this thread using my phone of course. i feeling i little bit ashamed because i feel i'm failing to see the obvious

its not on the market just download it form the thread (1st post) and put on your sd card and then install with apk installer for example

btw, this app looks great!! But I'll wait for your update today
