[APP] zMooth gesture app to replace keys

Is it possible to have custom gestures- eg. search- one thing i miss from my android phones is a dedicated search button (i use button savior atm but would prefer the gesture).

Left does nothing
Right brings up the menu

This happens if SuperUser permission was not given correctly. When you install the app first time you should see a popup which asks you to give the app SuperUser permission.

I think you might have clicked "no" or you have issue with SU in your ROM. you can try uninstall and install again.

In my HD2 (tytung Nexus One ROM) I have the density in 200... I choose height 30 and the sensitivity to 2.
Everything goes very smooth.

hi, nice app, working fine on my HD2 (density 240) MIUI rom finally i can get rid of bottom panel in opera mini

little problem for me is that it interferes with spacebar.

if you are open for suggestions here is how i would love to see this working (it would go "naturally" with the behavior of the system):
(all areas invisible, or almost trasparent ligth gray)
1] bottom area (as it is now), swipe up to bring out the menu - (short press of Win button)
2] longpress in bottom area brings up the keyboard (Win key longpress)
3] right side - swipe from right to left to go back - (back button)
4] longpress in right area - go home (homebutton)
5] right area doubletap - lock screen

(home button long press) personally i dont use that one since i only use roms in which this one is pointless (recent apps in sense, notifications in miui)

so basically i would love if you gave us ability to create more customizable areas (color, sensitivity, size) with custom gestures and at least the basic set of actions

it would be superb if the application were "click-through" so it would take only actions that are meant for it, so if you click the botom you click space but if you slide you trigger the menu. - i am aware that is maybe impossible to implement.

and a backup settings to sd card feature would be much appreciated.

The pro version will add more features, including being able to turn off screen, change width, colors of the gesture area.

The Home gesture function only work with right handed user, as it swipe from left ^ right. But as a left handed, it is difficult to use Home gesture function. Is there any way to be able to swipe right ^ left?

Great app. I can see how useful this will be to most people.

I have a suggestion, when you press the input area it opens up but it retracts when you let it go...why not make it pop out and await an input...as it is now. It work's but I think it would he easier to use if it had this feature.

Single tap = expose input area
Double tap when exposed = closes the input area....closes automatically after a command is issued

Also. I am using it on my Adam tablet. So it would be great if you could move it to the left or right where your thumbs are.

Also in the settings add a gesture illustration with default actions

never saw the adam in person, will you be able to post a screenshot and mention the height you are using in settings?. I need to understand the scale of the app on your display to be able to get the app dimensions/settings right.

Also what's your display resolution and dpi?.

The reason it hides immediately is keep the screen clear and be unobtrusive, I spent lot of time to allow the user gesture in one smooth motion instead of tapping it once, then swipe/gesture, tap to close. you don't have to have it open to perform gestures, all you need to do is start your gesture in the area and it will track correctly.

Actually, I can write with both hands. My left hand writes from right to left or right to left, and my right hand can writes from right to left....

Anyway, its just a suggestion. Do it as you will

I can't get the screenlock to work for me. I redownloaded, like you suggested. I made sure that the app gets root access but the option is still greyed out.
ButtonSavoir's screenlock, which needs root access, too, works without a hitch. So I don't think it's a problem with the build I use.

Anyway, I'm going to keep using this app with or without this option, just thought I'd let you know.

what device/rom are you using?, might be something to do with your ROM. I never have to restart the app on my phone, gestures have been working without any issue even after flashing multiple ROM's (keeping user data).
