FAT: 1.25gb primary
ext2 remained space as logical.
Installed update.zip from xrecovery and after that i was not able to install any application.

i think that ext2 must be primary also

that's not true, you can partitioning your sd card with your phone used as a card reader, i did it that way..
so i follow this instructions, i conect my phone with comp via usb cable, mount sd card to comp and start partitioning
how you did it exactly? Because i always have the "blank sd" message

edit: managed to make it work rebooting phone.
Don't ask me how, lol

Move zip file to root of sd card.

Go into xrecovery and select install custom zip

and i recommend ext3 sd card partition.

You can use ext2 or ext4 but i think with ext3 will be faster.

Thats all!!!!!

Enyoy.

Warning:There are sometimes problem when partitioning sd card. You need to try several times until worked.
When you boot your phone first time aplications will not work so wait few minutes and shut down the phone and turn it on then all will be ok.
please provide a mirror for older SE update
thanks

hi all,

I installed xrecovery (busybox version) and now my SD card is unreadable in both android and windows!

xrecovery told me that the sd card was unmountable so i rebooted the device and now the SD card cannot be read by anything.

Is there anything I can do to recover the SD card? Either by xrecovery or windows??

Guys is it possible to get darktremor's app2sd working on our X8???
It is by far the best app2sd solution for android out there...

Just asking, cuz alot of phones are using it with no problems at all, plus you have the option for moving dalvik cache to sd by default, enable swap...

Huh?

need help..

i need help..

i partitioned a 8gb memory card to 5 gb as fat32 and 3gb as ext3.

when i go in settings and in memory..

i see internal 110 mb.. and sd card 5 gb.

in titanium backup i see:

110 internal memory
5 gb external
3 gb(a2sd) external

is apps2sd installed correctly?
when i install apps will be installed in that 3gb partition?
or they will when the 110 mb is full?

Why XRecovery stop working after update. I cant switch to xrecovery mode anymore.
the files in system/bin are deleted..
you have to re-root the phone.. download the busybox,
and with super exproler give r/w to system folder and paste 3 xrecovery files again in system/bin
