I went to look at the time on my watch, it would not come on.
Looked at the phone, it was trying to push an update.......

Now, the watch does not do anything.
No power, holding power for 20 sec + won't hard reboot.....

Don't know what to do next !!!

EDIT:
Plugged in for 5 minutes, tried booting and nothing, tried a 20sec power hardreboot, did not do anything.
Juste hit power once more quickly and it worked, and updated !!!

Got scared there for a sec !

New update working fine now

After the update last week (I was not plugged in for the update) that caused my battery life to go down to three hours, I finally got the phone to a full charge. Then I went back to the original clock, disabled Facebook and Twitter, then tried it our for a day, with good battery life. The second day I switched to the analog clock and so far battery life has been acceptable. At least it lasts all day.

I just downloaded and installed the newest update (while plugged into the charger) and hope to see even more of an improvement. I really like the looks of the analog watch, and I'm happy to see Sony making an effort to keep improving this software. I hope someone like Zagg comes out with a screen protector soon, as it seems a lot more fragile that the Gorilla glass on my Droid Bionic.

Fixed (finally)

This morning's firmware update fixed my watch that has been bricked by the update a couple weeks ago. Others that got toasted by that bad firmware might want to try this one.

hi.
As far as i know,
hotmail does not support the imap protocol what my e-mail application uses.
Not 100% sure though.

But when the server does not support imap, the app will not work with it.

I have an internal beta version that also (should) support pop3.
But it does not correctly work at the moment.

Sorry about that.

But you still could create an google mail account and let the google mail account fetch the hotmail mails.

Then you could get the mails from google over imap.

Another app could be the k9mail app in the store.

I am using a Galaxy Note too and i see a bit more battery drain, but i still come over a full day and a bit more with one recharge.

Hi Beowulf and thanks for your reply. If you search a beta testeur for your application with compatibility with hotmail/msn i can help you.
I've already a gmail adress but i don't wish to link my different adress mail ...
For k9mail, i don't know the good settings for my first adress [email protected] and for the second [email protected] And i'm not sure the push mail work because i've read seting with 5 minutes ...
Your Galaxy Note is in ICS or not yet ? In my case, i'm not on ICS !

P.S. : sorry for my poor english but i'm french.

Hi. nice. I just dont know what this kik messenger is. Never heard about it.

and first shame on me but i think i have forgot to remove the permission request "Internet" in the manifest.xml file.
I would guess Internet is not needed for an AccessibilityService that reads notifications.
Sorry for that.

And then i would recomend to describe in the app description that you need to activate the accessibility Service for it to work.

And just for my interrest. Are you using the method "CancelNotification" from my source ?
Sorry for the delay in answering the question. Yea, I was toying around with your implmentation of CancelNotification. It does seem broken. Is the intent to cancel the notification on the phone as if the human user clicked the delete button to the right?

I initially thought you were getting the wrong notifyId, but when I tried using .cancelAll() they still were not canceled so I suspect the context is wrong. Thoughts?

I'm getting my Smartwatch in a few days and I can't wait ! Nice to see this thread and people contributing what they want on it and all that.

Lets all hope Sony continue to support the Smartwatch and release firmware updates to remove bugs.

I know they've already released firmware updates but i'm saying it for the future because sometimes Sony stops supporting something when sales aren't good enough. Lets hope they don't do with this one :)

I have a question. Does the Smartwatch look cool when wearing it ? Just say your out and about and people see the watch do they stare at it and go like ' WOAH ' !! ?

Well in my case they do and actually ask me questions. Like one of the recent occasion was at the Samsung event of the Galaxy S3 on Tuesday, at registration some people knew about the watch and even tho they didn't ask me something I notice they were pointing at my watch, couldn't hear what they were talking because the music was loud but still that makes it more special to me :)

Ohhh and I almost forgot how about an instagram app? Just and idea, but it'll look cool in our watch. Like swiping thru pictures and double tapping to like them and zooming out to get out of the app. Very simple and at the same effective, that will be a very popular app since almost everyone use instagram and since facebook bought it I'm sure that app will be around for a very long time :D

Yeah man that would be cool. I'm hoping Sony keep on updating the smartwatch and developers keep on making apps for it.

Hey guys

Just got my smartwatch and I'm wondering if it's really true that there isn't a countdown app? I'd love to be able to set up a countdown timer for example 90 secs and it'll vibrate and beeb, to use in the gym between sets. :)

Thanks up front
