v2 Features:
- merged all the v8.2b extra featuers so i removed it (Hope no more people will ask what is the best verison :angel: )
-removed some slow shutter option that where unstable but there are new ISO options now
-now Lens blur and portrait are usable both (not need to deactivate one or another)
-added toggles for snapdragon users that had pink portrait problems and to fix white level
Clean install is a MUST. After the first boot of the app make sure you force close and re-open it

dear Dan, i m new to XDA and i came here searching for a porting for a google camera to use portrait mode with my galaxy s9
but you exynos version, and other i try, all app Crash at the start, with an message like : camera contine to shut down.
i m very newbie here, have you got an idea on how can i find help? thank you

V8.3b Base Update
v2.6 Features:
- Removed the time max exp stuff
-Added Slow shutter x2, x4 (x8 wasn't stable at all) and also the ISO are still there
-removed some unstabled option (lens blur 12mp option still cant sermove the 60 fps in video option so it wont work)
-fixed the higher exposure
-as always i set best settings to deafult based on what people report me
-disable hexagon like @cstark27 suggested the interface could be more smooth

Thanks for your hard work Dan! For some reason even if I do use the same settings your build it's a little bit inferior when it comes to quality compared to miniuser and this is strange...

This will fix that problem i just made some changes to try but now it will be far better. Tell me what you think after you test it

is there a special test build cuz I'd like to try it out and report back ^^
see I too think miniuser build is superior in quality especially when set to pixel 2017 mode. the latest 8.3bv2 is good, but images lack sharpness and there is too much noise

like i said i'm not a developer. But i've learned a lot and some good people on the telegram group tested some build and told me about the problems of the app! Hope this time it's better

Also one request, can u add a Live HDR(samsung features) toggle in the live preview itself like u added the focussing options??

Agree, this much more stable in my S7 too. Thanks, @IDan1109! One thing, though.. is it just me or OIS is not working in the default picture mode? But it works in video mode, so thumbs up for that. Would really like to hear from you on this. Keep up the good work!

Shutter speed is something complicated. On Gcam you don't have a pro mode. So this options are not stable. Beacuse the app isnt made for that the new code will try to force the shutter to stay opened the maximum time but if the ambiend is bright the internal algorithm will force the shutter to close this is why you ill get different results also on the same shot. With slow shutter x2 i've took some photos with 1/5. But there is no difference between miniuser's version. For the Live HDR we will see i've to study no so i don't have much time for that.

That's stange for me it's working fine. Note that OIS is used from samsung API so it wont be as much effective as samsung camera. I will take a look anyway
