Hi, it's me again :(.
After some more months of flawless banking, it's gone out of order again a few days ago.
And this time there is no magisk update available.
But a new firmware version is available (I'm still on 5.0.8, because I'm always a bit of a coward with completely new main versions).
So I tried the upgrade this weekend - and lost all my data. See also the thread over here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...4-error-message-corrupt-t3956161#post80050649
I'm now back on a working phone (thanks to nandroid backup) but still without a working banking app.

Before investing more effort in the 9.0.4 upgrade, may I ask if somebody can confirm that a 9.0.4 upgrade will solve the issue.
Or has somebody another idea on how to get banking back to work - this time?

Your banking app probably updated it's root detection, most likely with the UDS detection method that's all the rage recently. More on that here: https://www.didgeridoohan.com/magisk/MagiskHide#hn_Hiding_root_from_apps

That detection method is also fixed upstream, so it's available in the current Canary release and will be in the next beta/stable Magisk release.

Could of course be something else as well, but most should be covered in the link above.

Thank you! UDS is exactly what they have changed.

I have now even found a thread where that has been reported earlier: "fidor". My banking provider is not fidor but one closely associated with them. So please excuse me bothering you here. Will move to the other thread in case it happens again.
