Just an update.... Button Savior root still won't work with 5.1.1...(power button) but the developer was real nice and after emailing back and forth several times we found the button Savior non root works great... Every button also works with the pro key... Thanks @jerryfan2000... Definitely the first app I always need on any phone/tablet I use... The only thing I do miss from the root version is the ability to hold down the power button... It usually brings up the power options screen... But in the non-root version it does not

I use button saviour on all my android devices, and I find it really speeds up maneuvering through my GUI. I was wondering if anyone had used it on the edge's curved screen? It's something that I (unfortunately) can't test at the verizon retail locations.

I use it on my S7 edge.... Had a few issues when set to swipe to trigger buttons.... If I swipe to close to the edge panel pullout... But I've decided to just put an actual trigger right below it 1461490778432.jpg

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I use swipe from side, but I can live with going back to a button/trigger.

As a general request I'd love to see button saviour's author add a additional feature for swipe from side. If there was the ability to trigger via swipes from the top, middle or bottom third(s) of the screen, I think that would help to filter out conflicts with gadgets (scroll bar, close gadget, onscreen keyboard etc), and allow an additional level of customization.

When I try to disable Enable Lock at Button Savior in the Settings application, the Settings application stops. So it is impossible to remove Button Savior. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 with o/s 6.0.1

Hey thought I'd try it out too.... Weird it just closes unfortunately I disabled and now can't enable it! Probably something I did cause I flash different roms weekly and never had a problem just noticed today..... Definitely weird.... Using non-root button Savior on S7 edge

Edit* OK so I wiped app cache/data and still didn't work.... Decided to uninstall and restore a titanium backup of button Savior and now it lets me enable

is this app still alive?

I would like to know if would be possible to add custom actions to buttons, page up/page down, or launch an app
