Sorry for the noubie 1st post in this thread, I've just been given an Arc S as my SII imploded, so i'm trying to put FXP236 onto the phone but have hit a really simple problem.
Which download do I choose. Dogo, hayabusa, mint etc

Phone is rooted and CWM is added, about phone is showing Kernel Version 2.6.32.9-perf. build number is 4.1.A.0.562

any thoughts greatly appreciated

Arc S = anzu for downloading

Also you need an CM based kernel before you can flash the ROM. You can use the included Kernel in the zip or Lupus / Fusion

Camera doesn't work very well or is it me ?

Is there a new kernel or camera app that works better than those supplied with rom ? Thx !

Camera is not fully fixed on any JB ROM for 2011 Xperias. It cant be fixed untill camera libs are acquired. Camera is still Work In Progress. So yeah its normal to have a camera which is not working fully. It will not be fixed by using any other kernel.

Sorry for my late reply.
You don't need wifi modules when going to 3.4 kernel, but if you go back to 2.x kernel, you need to flash system again to have working wifi (no data wipe needed though).

Can they fix camera or it won't be working 720p for xperia 2011 devices? I know they are waiting for Sony to give them JB camera libs i am not developer and i don't know how all that works. Will it be added in cm10? What happen if Sony don't give them jb camera libs?

It's not a lib problem but RAM problem. They can enable 720p if they want but it has a lot of downsides. See their website for explanation.

I went through last 100 pages, and I'm still not sure, is this rom suitable for daily use, hows battery, how is it working after some time,? Does it have any major bugs, or is it coming anywhere near 2.3.4 in terms of stability, speed etc.

I'm sorry, if those questions are too generic, but as I read through pages, I find a lot of conflicting answers..

Its awesome for daily use
Battery's good (lasts one day for me, wi-fi music calls messaging)
No major bugs
Its stable and smooth
Give it a try...
