I think they shouldn't give up. CM7 has been the most stable ROM for arc (and MIUI...) It is unfair..

so it means there are chances that warranty is not void.. can anyone comment on this?

secondly, will i get all the jelly bean features on my xperia s if i use cyanogenmod 10 JB?
like, i have read that sensme, of walkman app, donot work. so, if i use the stock apk of walkman app in the cyanogenmod 10 JB,, then? will it work?

Sony can refuse to take some damage into warranty, but it's up to them. I didn't found any precise criteria of what they will refuse. You should ask on official sony dev forum or ask technical support.

CM do not contain any Sony specific application, so no walkman etc... Check your device forum for adding sony framework and apps on CM10, this one is for xperia arc / arc s, and this is a Gingerbread thread (CM7.2)

Sorry me for rebumping this thread, but is FXP Team thinking in update CM7.2? I don't understand why did they release fxp-150 with no changes if they weren't going to continue this proyect... I would really ask FXP to don't give up... this is a GREAT rom and could be the best if you wanted...

last day i use fxp 150 and its kernel. now i use stock 62. but i cannot turn on my wifi.
i try ics stock, cusrom base ics, and i cannot turn on my wifi. and then i try use cm 7.2 again, and finally i can turn on my wifi.
what is the problem? i want to use ics with wifi but it cannot turn on.

help me please

I think the problem is with the wifi drivers. My friend had same problem. What I did was, I installed an app like wifi manager from playstore. I turned on the wifi from the wifi manager. And the problem was solved. Now stock wifi manager also started working.
I think it installed the drivers required, correctly.

FXP150 with the camera fix kernel runs pretty good on baseband77, I also didn't notice any excessive battery drain.

While the camera doesn't freeze on 1st snap, it's broken in video mode.
The camera in video mode dosn't lag, it freezes completely in HD or youtube HD quality.
Liveview is frozen, recording timestamp starts counting up after a few seconds, if you press recording again it stops counting, but the app is frozen and it produces a file which can't be played back.
In High or Youtube High quality it doesn't start recording at all.

Dooms CM7 kernel thread only has dead links, does some1 know a mirror by chance or could suggest another kernel to try?
Tried Doomkernel v22 because it's the only one I could find links for, but its not intended for CM7, it booted fine, but the touchscreen was dead

While video mode works excellent on FXP150kernel, this kernel has broken ext4 support, I can't mount my ext4 partition with Link2SD

use kernel from zip,doomkernel v22 is for stock rom.

I checked, it was stuck on the Lupus logo for me, both v16 and v14.
FXP150 kernel doesn't support ext4 or ext3 partitions, but it worked with ext2, evaluating it now. Seems fast and stable.

Yeah but stock GB, is something very different compare to CM ...
Two different base of roms, two different kernels...

It will never work for CM7, so stop confusing ...
