Fastboot: unknown option -- i

Hi All,

When trying to unlock bootloader I receive this message: "fastboot: undnown option --i"

I am trying to undlock bootloader on xperia C5. I have succesfully installed adb and fastboot and all needed drivers after couple of hours.. I am not a pro lol. I have "unlock bootloader allowance = yes" in settings when dialed-in *#*#7378423#*#*
I can reboot the phone from command and enter in fastboot mode, my device is listed when typing "fastboot devices", all worked except when I had to unlock the bootloader with command: "fastboot -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xMYDEVICEUNLOCKCODE"

I am following the https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp.../bootloader-unlocked-custom-recovery-t3285521 thread and trying to root my phone.

Many thanks in advance for any help and sorry for posting twice my issue. I found this thread on Sony website.

I am just stuck here after so many hours of preparation... I would really appreciate some help.

I don't know how to delete the post. I had some troubles installing FastBoot driver. I am running on WIN10 and I managed to do it by manipulating the sdkmanager file. That manipulation caused the error. I used the adb and fastboot posted by bigrammy and all worked apparently. Now I wait the phone to restart..

My Bootloader Unlock Status = NO

Is there any way to make it YES?

i googled countless time, flashed .FTF various ROM builds countless time..

it is still NO..

is there any ROM to flash which will make it YES?
