So I really like the new moto z, I would like to get one i was told that i can use the device with other carriers however the only thing stopping me right now is that i have heard that Droid phones are notoriously slow with Android update so is that true?
Because if it's true i will just wait for an unlocked version or pick up a note 7

Definitely go for the note 7. It's really better than Moto Z. Just watch comparison video and you'll get to choose the note 7
I was looking at alot of videos however the durability of the note 7 is really a concern to me i have seen alot of people talking about how is it gets scratched, I know that i can use cases and screen protectors however I love to use phones as is

And now the exploding battery. Returned my note 7 today and bought the Moto Z. I'm on T-Mobile by the way and it works perfectly.

Samsung is recalling the note 7  i just ordered one today in the morning I guess I am returning, and i think am getting a Moto z from Verizon, let the update come whenever even though I would love to have the unlocked version but I really want to get my hands on it and play with some mods, but wow Samsung will surely fire some people over what happened this battery thing is going to do some major damage since the next google phones are coming not to mention iPhone i feel sorry for them they tried really hard this year however safety and build quality comes first

I returned my note 7 last week for a moto Z force. This phone here is very smooth, not laggy like the note 7. Even if it is slow to get updates the phone is still very smooth and quality.
