Are you suggesting I revert the phone back to stock? I've read there could be issues doing that with the OH1 build that I have, but I'm not sure.

anyone happen to know what ehrpd error 9 is and maybe some fix for it? I'm stumped..i think its just the phone is defective. It seems to be a rare error because I can't find any info other than people asking about it and getting no response.
Yes, odin back to stock. It sounds like your modem and bootloader don't match.
Updating profile and prl doesn't fix it.. I've tried that many times using the ## thing that does the activation process and a factory reset a few times. It didn't seem to fix it. Im a sad panda.

This seems to be for an earlier build, not the L710VPUDOH1, which is what I had when the wifi problem began to show itself. Does that matter?

Thank you for the help joker but i tried that aswell. That's what i meant when i said i tried the ## activation thing. Sorry for my lazy vocab I'm in sad panda mode and I'm pretty sure this phone is pooped most likely messed up by the freedompoop flunky who puts the devices roms on the phone..
That's very old, and for boost and virgin Mobile, and its not a .tar file for odin. That's a .zip file. If you're doing things like that, its probably why your WiFi won't turn on. Do you have the triband?
If I have a stock 4.4 KitKat install and I want to downgrade to stock 4.3, is that possible? I want to try using using this MirrorLink app but it only works on Android < 4.4.
It will probably block you from doing it and I wouldn't recommend it. Some people have said that it's possible. I would just try flashing a 4.3 ROM such as MOAR.
I just got another s3 for my daughter. I use to use Wicked Sensations roms on my old s3 and loved it. Is there anything out there for this phone that I can run that runs smooth and has the Hotspot working? Is it possible to go back to wicked sensations from 4.4.2?
