I seen a few forums on some people disappointed with he nee Pixel 6. I am one of them and just initiated the return. Are you keeping yours or sending it back?
That's what surprised me as well.Still undecided, but I'm not happy either.. it's chunky, it'S heavy, and it's slippery... so much worse than the 5
I wasn't hyperaware of the weight when I was playing with the phone displays at the store... but it's a little over 20g heavier than my current phone. Wonder how big of a deal it will be to me once the pixel becomes the daily.Still undecided, but I'm not happy either.. it's chunky, it'S heavy, and it's slippery... so much worse than the 5
I would understand if this would make a great SOT, but right now... it's not better than my 5. Not really sure if it needs to adapt a little or it's just not effiecient. That's what surprised me as well.
I haven't ordered the pixel 6 but i was really surprised when i saw the weight of the device.
Thats another point I don't like, the capacitive on the back was perfect, even with the swipe gesture.. the one on the front is just anonyin with this footprint.Sadly I might not. I have until the 11th to initiate a return. If nothing changes with the fingerprint scanner it's going back to Google.
False. I'm going based off experiences with other scanners I've used in the past. I've had the Oneplus 6T, amongst other 1st generation optic scanners they worked better out the box unlike the P6. I like the phone don't get me wrong but people need to stop making excuses for this fingerprint scanner. It performs poorly or not at all.To be fair though, in screen fingerprint readers have been notoriously finicky at launch for most phones.

Op6T being referenced as a good scanner. There's a first. That said both it and p6 perform ok for me none better than the other even though p6 scanner should be 3 years newer.
Totally agree.Exactly the point I was trying to make. OnePlus 6T at launch was a significantly worse scanner than it was after they pushed thru some software updates. (I didn't say it was good. I just said at launch it was much worse.) Pixel 6 has only been out for 2 days. I would expect to see the usability increase.
