If it's charging at roughly 2%@minute between 40-70%, you're good to go.So I took the time to reset the phone last night and only restored contacts. When I set FP this time I uped screen sensitivity (and left it there) followed directions exactly, and I have yet to have the phone not open the first try. About the only disappointment left is charging. That, it seems, I'll just have to deal with.
If charging slow make sure the battery start temperature is 82-90F. Below 70F fast charging may not engage in order protect the battery.
After about 80% fast charging ramps down and disengages entirely around 90%.
If the battery gets too hot fast (about 102F) fast charging will disengage.
Never charge with screen on as it will skew the charge curve.
Never attempt to charge below 40F!
If still not fast charging try toggling fast charging on/off 3 times. Clear system cache.
Use a known good fast charger and cable.
If any of the protocols or charging parameters aren't meet, fast charging will not engage to protect the battery.
