Hi! Nice job with this custom ROM. So far so good but what I noticed it's that the FP sensor it's being recognized as a touch input which is not that bad but can be annoying sometimes. Does anyone else has this problem?

I have the same problem. The fingerprint sensor opens quite a lot of apps for me. I tried using remappers to avoid that, but had no success. Have been using the rom for over one day now but noticed that the battery has emptied quite fast though my phone was turned off the most time. Thought about lowering the minimal cpu clock in the kernel but had no success either. Any idea? (Yeah, I'm using the newest rom)

I faced the same problem with heating and the battery drained, I did a factory reset and the problem was solved

The battery issue has fixed itself now. But seems like the step counter only works if my application runs in the foreground. The fingerprint sensor also drives me crazy. But still it's amazing to have such good performance now and not all these pie glitches I encountered in MIUI.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Nope it didnt. Is this rom really for xiaomi redmi s2?
U should be on pie Miui rom to boot the Rom.
And i have not got any error while flashing recovery.. Just flash recovery in fastboot any 64bit.
Or flash orangefox recovery through fastboot then flash any 64bit recovery img through twrp into recovery partition..
And yeah the Rom is for Redmi s2(ysl)
