I have a problem with audio. While playing a game I hear noise something like fizzle all the time.

Try to flash different audio mod, maybe it will help. There are few to choose from on XDA.

Just been to hell and back getting my phone rooted, black screens of death boot loops, tried this rom after successfully rooting it and was looking for how to install exposed when i saw a load of threads saying to avoid 4.0 but none really say why, some one did mention the camera, seems fine to me though.
is 4.0 bad? i really dont have the energy (and only an hour left before i have to go out) to go through all that again and the rom seems ok?
if it is bad what are my options for a quick fix?

EDIT...ah i have lost recovery, guessing thats one of the issues (gonna look back a few pages for a fix)
EDIT 2 ... ok that was painless, installed this http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/wip-sony-android-6-0-mm-t3337357 (recroot4 by wolf, mentioned a few pages back to another recovery lost person) if thats the only issue with the rom im all good

To shorten things up:

v3 is stable and working fine.
v4 may be good for someone, but may cause issues as well. Those differ from user to user. For me it was bad audio [easily fixable] and video streams glitches [that one I haven't managed to fix, so I rerolled to v3]. Others mention random reboots, whatsapp crashes, recovery failures, softbricks due to Gapps and maybe some other issues I forgot to mention.

@Wolfbreak can you implement the volte function in ur next rom ota ?

singtel sg .575 mm rom has volte function and i know there are some toggles that needs to be edited in Phonebook, Telecom, Teleservice apk's in system priv-app folder.. i did all possible tricks but no luck..

pics are from stock singtel sg .575 mm rom so it's a request to implement this function in ur rom.. regard and thanks for reading my boring post

You need a stock systemui.apk, and replace it in system/priv-app. I did it, and it works

Screen goes black during call

Hi all,

anyone who can help
I'm on V4 and the dialer started to act weird and i cannot really decide whether it is a harware or software issue
So when I initiate a call the screen goes full black right after i tap the dial send and it won't light back on whatever i do.
When i cover the proximity sensor then sometimes it comes back for a quick flash but thats all
When I receive a call none of these symptoms occure

To help decide if it's a hardware issue, open dialer and type

*#*#7378423#*#*

That should bring up the service menu where you can test the proximity switch under tests.

Also check if you have any xposed module conflicts/settings that may change the behaviour of it.

I know that issue's somewhat older, but since I just had the same problem I wanted to tell you guys what the problem with my phone was.
The service test also showed that there was no malfunction with the proximity switch, however after taking a closer look at the display I realised that mine wasn't completely attached at the top left corner. When I press it down during a call the dial pad becomes visible again.

So I think this one's a hardware problem

P.S.: I hope nobody posted something like that before, but I did not find another explanation so I hope that helps some people.

This rom(aroma v4) runs very smoothliy in my z3 dual.but there is one problem...
After installing this rom my phone is unable to detect my networks...
I can't access my sim1 and sim2...

Hey guys so I love Wolfbreaks ROM but I have a question, is there a reason MSC mass storage mode is not working on the other ROMs? All the other ROMs I've tried can't initialize mass storage mode for some reason. The only exceptions are Concept, Wolfbreak's and stock. So what's up with that?

Is the option just not available?
