TWRP nor ORANGEFOX Recoveries, are capable of decrypting the "data" storage of memory, even if you disable any password/pin/pattern. (don't use any decrypting script for recovery, doesn't work for Android_12)
So the "auto-update-pilot" is not working.
When you get notified for OTA update, it is better to download the file and dirty install from recovery.
After that , only Magisk is to be reinstall from recovery again, and after rebooting, everything will be in it's place.
Until some dev will find a way for Android_12 and succeed in decrypting the data storage, this is the only method.
ps: for better (and not worse) I personaly remove screen lock (password/pin/pattern) before I do the reboot into recovery to dirty install the update.

My cell phone has Orangefox recorvey, I did the rom installation procedure, but now it only returns to orangefox and does not start the system. Do you have any suggestions as to what might have happened?
Thanks, I am using Nova launcher that is why I could not find it. Activated it in Lawnchair and it is now there.
Could you enlighten us about (dfe) procedure, version, method, etc.
Just to be sure.
Rebooted to orange fox recovery, wiped cache,dalvik, data,dalvik cache, installed a12 rom, then sideloaded dfe, formatted data, rebooted to system, setup everything. After then rebooting to recovery and you can see all files. Tried around 5 a12 roms and worked perfect. Version of dfe i got this one.
Did you change the name of Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip (there was something with it).

what do you mean, the system does not start?
perhaps you see the fasyboot logo?
the tricky part is that you everytime you format data within the recovery , so a new key is assigned to data-partition. That is why it is readable afterwards.

It seems that the last update uses Lawnchair as the default launcher.
This works ok, but I much prefer the previous launcher. I'm not interested in root.

local music files? It works fine for me (tried .mp3 only)
streaming online music (Spotify, Amazon music, YT music) has been superfine too since I listen to them every day anyways
(ArrowOS-12.0 with no mods and no root/magisk/magisk modules, GAPPS version.)
PowerAmp works fine for me. MP3 and flacc from external SD card.
But not with working Android 12 Data Decryption?
P.S update before fixed Battery stats didn't it?
Shows full 3 days from 100% to now
Except the Android system think it's online for 14 days ^^
@Haldi4803 It is never supposed to decrypt, what's the security point of view if you could access data/internal via recovery. (Only to please people?)

I updated to the January 19 build.
But now it happend for the third time that my screen got black for half a second. During normal usage, just went black and the ln continued as normal.
Does anyone have similar issues?

The proximity sensor is always active!
So when you move your finger left from the camera the screen turns black!

Press the screenshot tile and it should switch to partial screenshot. You use it to manually crop a screenshot before saving it.If you don't mind, can you explain me what do you call partial screenshot ?

in recent apps click on the icon of the app that you want to split and select if up or down2Is anyone else having an "issue" with screen dimming when you tilt the phone? Basically when i'm outside occasionally when tilting phone from vertical to horizontal it's dimming the screen. (brightness slider doesn't move homever)
It's obviously extremely annoying with camera for example when you are trying to take picture horizontally.. once turned back vertically brightness is back and for some reason it doesn't happen 100% of the time too. Not sure but i think unlocking the phone in horizontal position sometimes helped so it wasn't dimming afterwards.
Did anyone had a similiar problem? Could this be ROM, Android 12 or some app "feature" ?
Edit: Turns out polarizing glasses cause this, try for yourself. So weird.

Suggested firmware: Any MIUI 12.x to 13.x (S or R) firmware will work; I used MIUI 12.0.4.0, 12.5.3.0 and MIUI 13 for testing.
Instructions
FIRST INSTALL?:
- Remove any fingerprint, PIN, or password in MIUI
- Unlock the bootloader
- Transfer ROM to internal storage
- Install any suitable recovery
- Flash ROM zip file
- Do a data wipe in recovery (format data)
- Reboot to the system, wait and enjoy
- Download via OTA Updater and let it automatically install; OR
- Download an update, transfer to internal/external storage (always check file sha256)
- Reboot to recovery; Flash ROM zip and reboot.

1411.0 -> 12.0 -> 12.1 all are dirty flash, no need to format data

Lawnchair is not compatible properly with 12.1 (aosp did some changes in 12L/12.1 and lawnchair needs to rebase their source to 12.1 quickstep/launcher3 or make it compatible however that's possible otherwise)
The latest update uses MIUI13 blobs and configs, You can use any firmware from MIUI 12.x to 13.x (thanks vendor freeze lol)

One of the most noticeable bugs on 12L (generally, and doesn't surprise) is for gapps users on a clean flash might need to set up fingerprint at setup wizard to avoid crashes (hopefully this gets fixed next ASB)

- Fix XiaomiParts (Doze, Thermal, Dirac, and ClearSpeaker) not saving user settings after reboot
- Show 4G instead of LTE (due to heavy user requests)
- A bit faster transition animation
- Handle some unneeded logspams

- Set SSR level to workaround rare carrier/modem crashes etc.

March security patches will be delayed, we are just super busy with life as of now and we need to rebase Arrow to newly released android-12.1/12L tags (and google still needs to fix certain issues in this release aswell)

I noticed lots of people are using mods or modifying the rom to break encryption support/to stay decrypted

It's a free hobby.
It's not just about satisfaction to an user about more and more rom features, it's about getting things ready, adapting the device sources for newer android version and porting changes from last android release to new one.
